Played on a gorgeous summer afternoon with cloud cover to keep temp in the 90's and a slight breeze. Course is immaculate best shaped course I have played on this year!! From tee to green conditions near perfect. Course has wide fairways with a lot of bunkers and plenty of water hazards on almost every hole. Greens were receptive to shots with medium speed which was good for the undulation they have. Made course playable around greens any faster could have been trouble. The only fault of the course is the severe sloping of the fairways which can punish perfect tee shots it is too much in my mind. Leaves you very little flat lies on every hole. Well maybe that is the course defense but seems a little out of place. But this is probably nit picking still one of the nicest courses in the area. They have free water and gatorade on every 4th hole which is a very nice touch in desert. Practice facility is nicest in the area and probably the best I have ever been on. Has many target as well as great chipping area with different lies as well as great putting green. We did have a problem with one of our golf carts which are gas something I do not care for. Overall a great course in the middle of nowhere.

Played here on 4/24 in morning. Course is in great shape with everything near perfect. Greens are good receiving shots well. They do show some signs of recent aeration but roll fine. Fairways are in great shape as well as rough. The best part of the course is the well maintained bunkers!! Finally a Las Vegas course that has sand and maintains it thank you for that. Customer service is always good here. The day we played was very unusual in that the wind came and went it seems on every other hole like a light switch until 16 and then it blew so hard I am glad we teed it up early. 17 and 18 were near unplayable with the gusts that were blowing. Golfers when we left were just eating lunch and passing on golf. Clubhouse is probably one of the best in town as well. A course that will not let you down worth the price I believe. Fun layout but playable try to play early to avoid the brutal afternoon winds!!!

Played here on gorgeous morning for golf. Course is in great shape. Greens and fairways are perfect. Great layout here with great customer service. Only problems areas are the sand traps and tee boxes. It seems that the strong winds in Vegas has taken all the sand out of every course I play!!! Tee boxes are a little beat up with some severely sloped. But overall a great golfing experience.

Played in Greenskeeper event on 4/13 here. Course is very fun and greens can be very challenging. Great layout and course is in great shape with only problem spot to me the sand bunkers. Very hard and not enough sand for my liking. Greens run true but are very tricky to read but accept shots very well. Fairway and rough are in good shape as well with only one fairway in tough shape. The best part of course to me is the layout and scenery. I will be back from Vegas to play this course again because of the fun factor and the very good customer service!!

Played here on beautiful morning. 70's and no wind. Course is in great shape and getting a lot of play. Course is running great local deals right now and was literally sold out for the whole week. Great layout with many risk and reward shots very playable. Greens are great with medium speed, fairways are good and sand traps great. Customer service is fine only thing is new management has no liquor license right now but they are working on it. Great course with great local deals!!!

I loved this course. Greens were extreme in some cases but most were playable and fair to me. Layout was interesting especially the back nine. Conditions of course were excellent especially the greens which were smooth and fast the way I like to play. Next time I would play the blue tees for sure Whites were too short for the conditions hard and fast.I hit four drives that ran out of space on fairway where if played blues I would have been fine. Customer service was good here. Would like to thank my group for great fun and especially Paul for picking me up and dropping me off at the airport made my day very enjoyable. Best event for greenskeeper I have been to well run and timely finish pace of play was reasonable Thanks to all staff especially Johnny keep it going strong!!!

Played here on 2/17 for unbelievable great rate of $19. Course use to be one of the most lush in Vegas but the increase play has taken its toll on the course. Greens are beat up with great number of ball marks and quite bumpy also fairways are way to thin was actually aiming for rough to get better lie!!! Layout is still very fun and challenging with narrower fairways and nice size greens!! I will still go back if I can find this great rate but hopefully the fairways grow some grass and greens get a little smoother!!

I played Rio Secco on 2/8 and it is the best shape I have ever seen it. Rough is dormant yes but by design and makes beautiful contrast to manicured fairways. Everything from tee to green is exceptional. Customer service is good attentive but not pushy!! Layout is tremendous challenging without being goofy (ie Wolf Creek) Was very windy and cool today which added to the courses toughness. Greens are running about an 11 which is challenging but not impossible. Still if you play here keep approaches below the hole for scoring. Great driving range and putting and chipping area which is included in cost. If you can play this course for under $100 go for it. February local deal $55 with Email sign up is best deal in town, definitely a green light special!!

Played here on 1/12 on a typical breezy day in Boulder (WIND) City. Was not a breeze when left Vegas for 30 minute drive but the gusts were near 30 MPH at course. Course is in very nice shape as usual. Great layout with many exceptional holes with decisions off the tee and fairways. Greens were in fine shape. Rough is brown and dormant this time of year but that does not bother me challenging enough without rough. Many arroyos and canyons throughout course to punish wild shots. The wind played havoc on my group so we did not finish in 4 hrs but pace of play was fine. A very nice course and always good customer service with great practice area. Green light course!!

Played here on 12/8. They had a shotgun start at 9:00 AM for $50 local and tourists same price. Course is in great shape very lush. Design is challenging with well bunkered fairways and greens with great par 3's. Well worth the drive from Las Vegas which is around 1 hr. Very scenic this time of year with snow capped Mt Charleston in the distance. Green light for this course especially for tourists since the rates are the same as locals!!

Played here on 11/10 on a gorgeous day for golf. Course was in fabulous shape with everything perfect. Best conditions I have seen at this course. Got fabulous email deal Buy $50 worth of merchandise in pro shop and get round for free!!!!!!! So got a dozen pro v1's for $60 and a free round!! Layout is friendly but interesting with water hazards and elevation changes. A must play in Vegas right now.

Played here on a beautiful afternoon. Course just came out of overseeding so it was in rough shape but to be expected. Greens were bumpy and some bare spots in fairway nice enough layout with nice views. There are better options in the area I believe.
