Early morning tee time Thursday morning on Lagos. Check in still outside with masks required around clubhouse area. Tee boxes in very good shape with markers set very wide, fairways and rough were very lush and provided good lies. Bunkers in good shape but still no rakes. Greens were on the slow side with very few unfixed divots and firm on pitch and chip shots. POP was under four hours. Place was packed when we finished.

Morning tee time at Brookside #2. A steady mist during the entire round and they were aerating the tee boxes with large holes and after were spreading the plugs to break them up. Problem was it was so wet that all the tees were covered in mud. They had also cut the rough and left the clippings and the greens were covered with mud and grass clippings. Course should be back to normal in about a week. POP was a tick under four hours.

Early Friday morning round at DM. Things are looking up at DM and they have started catching up on the maintenance of the course, trees are being trimmed back, rough cleaned up and gopher holes being filled in. Tee boxes flat with good coverage, fairways and rough have good coverage and sand traps being maintained with nice sand. Greens are a little bumpy and have very few unfixed divots which is surprising considering how much play this course gets.
POP was 3.5 hours. On course restrooms still closed, snack bar open at the turn. Bridges on back nine being painted so some detours on the cart paths. Aeration of the greens on 4/12 and 4/13.

Friday morning tee time at CC, a little cool when we started but finished in 75 degree sunshine. Great layout and awesome views. Course was top notch shape some of the tee boxes have new sod, fairways and rough have good coverage. Was in one fairway trap that had good sand, greens are in great shape. Really need to play here a couple times to know where to hit the greens, some of the greens have a crown to them and ball rolls off to collection areas. Staff very organized and POP was four hours would have been a little faster the group in front of us were struggling a bit and let us play through on 8. Parking lot was packed when we were done.
Snack bar and bar open and outdoor seating available. Will be back out here soon.

Early tee time on TP north. Tees, fairways, rough and traps in very good condition. Greens are very firm with a few unfixed divots on each green. Customer service always good and on point. Currently #1 tee box and #18 green are being leveled to install a driving range for the US Open, with both holes shortened. Wind was up a little and made for some great views. POP was under four hours. Fun day with great views and great weather.

Twilight round at Pelican Hill south got in 18 with the last in complete darkness. Course is an amazing piece of property with fantastic views. Tees, fairways and rough had good coverage. Greens had a lot of footprints and unfixed divots due to late in the day. Staff is great and strict Covid protocols being followed.

Tuesday morning tee time at BP. Previous review is spot on about course conditions with an emphasis on the greens which are in great shape after receiving some pretty good rain the day before. The entire course drained well from the rain and the maintenance staff was out taking care of a couple problem spots. Covid precautions were all in place and being followed with the on course restaurant being closed. POP was a tad over four hours and the course is not charging holiday rates. Number four green is coming back around. Always a good time here.

Early morning tee time on Thursday. All Covid rules being followed. Check in and first tee very organized and running ahead of schedule. Tee boxes were a little beat up, fairways and rough have good coverage. Traps have compacted sand and well maintained. Greens have good coverage and were smooth running at medium speed. Have played SC a couple times over the last month and can’t figure out the greens, everything breaks to the ocean but there must be something else to them. POP was a little under four hours. All practice facilities are open and snack bar service available.

Mid morning tee time at AH. All covid protocols being followed. Check in and first tee well organized. Tee markers were all pushed together and at the front of the boxes, many were very muddy and had to hunt for a dry spot. Fairways and rough had good coverage with a lot of very wet areas. Have not played here in a couple years and a couple lakes have been drained. Traps had good sand and were well maintained, greens had good coverage and coming out of maintenance very nicely. Greens were smooth with very few unfixed divots medium speed and held well struck shots. GPS on our cart did not work made calls to the pro shop with no answer. POP was a little over four hours. Outside dining available, putting green, practice area and driving range open.

Early Wednesday morning tee time. All Covid protocols being followed, check in and first tee organized and efficient. Tee boxes are level and have good coverage, fairways were heavily watered and were marked as GUR too bad players in carts were driving though the areas. They are in the process of turf reduction in the rough areas and some areas do not make sense. Bunkers still the same condition that has been mentioned before. Greens had very good coverage and had some speed to them they rolled well. POP was 3.5 hours.
Driving range, putting green and clubhouse are closed. They did have a snack bar set up with outdoor seating.

Wednesday morning tee time on Brookside #2. Check in is always a little crazy here, covid protocol being followed and the line to check in is in the path of carts going back and forth due to social distancing. Single carts only we tried to have two to a cart and were told this was not allowed. Course in very good shape. POP was a little more than 3 hours. Very hot day.

Tuesday morning tee time at BP. Strict covid protocols being followed, check in and first tee very organized and on time. Tee boxes, fairways and rough had good coverage and were very green. Traps were well maintained with a good depth of sand. Greens are in bad shape with some sort of fungus some had been repaired and sand covering the repaired areas. POP was a little under four hours which is good considering how crowded the course was. The views and weather are always a plus.
