Played on 09/08/09 at 9am.First time playing this course.I had read some rough reviews on this course but since I live in the valley,I thought I would try for some cool breezes.The course was what I expected from prior reviewers,but I must say the greens were in very good shape.They rolled true and the speed was med to fast at times.The fairways and bunkers were a totally different story.They were in bad shape,but for $26 dollars including cart and very good greens it was well worth it.

Some more positives were the marshall was great.He ask us if this was our first time on the course and when we said yes,had advice for us that was very helpful.He checked on us often during our round.Very nice person.The par 3s from blue tees are very challenging but fair.The course is short but narrow,so it does keep you on your toes.Dont be shy when driving from the 6th green to 7th tee to order a sandwich from the small deli over the fence.Look for the signs before the 7th tee on the drivers side.

Played Journey on 08/25/09 at 9:30am. Course was all I expected and more.The staff from the pro shop to the starter were excellant.The course was in perfect shape and the views were awesome! I played for 99$,but they have a deal at 11am for 75$. Just get out there play this great course.Also the driving range,putting and chipping greens were perfect.I could have practiced all day and would have been satisfied.Enjoy!

Played on 08/19/09 at 1pm for 33 dollars w/cart and range balls.No one in front of us.Course was in great shape,greens rolling nice,fairways and tee boxes were perfect.The course staff was very polite and the whole day was a great experience.Enjoy!

Played on 08/11/09.First of all, I am glad I played for the discounted twilite rate.The course was fairly nice.The 3rd hole was beautiful as it is right on the beach.The problems with the course are,the sand traps are terrible.They look good from the outside but when you hit your bunker shot,there is no sand underneath.The cart paths do not let you have access to many fairways.The greens were nice and the customer service was great.If you choose this course,look for twilite rate.Enjoy!

I enjoyed this course very much.I would like to see the people who play there rack the bunkers when they are done.The greens were in great shape and the fairways were very nice.Not a very challenging course,but what short course really is? I would like to warn everyone that the driving range is only a caged area of about 25yds.Overall a nice short course to play.Enjoy!

This is a must play for everyone!!! Great driving range,putting greens and nice chipping area.Friendly staff and course the golf is awesome.You wont find many country clubs in better shape.Have fun!

This course was ok to play,but not great at all.Driving range balls were bad and the play was slow.Not a bad course if your looking for a bargain to get out and play.

I really enjoyed this course.I do have to say,when I pulled into the parking lot and saw the public look to the course,I was worried.But after I teed off I loved the feel of the course,the cool breeze from the ocean and the friendly people I played with.The greens were very nice,rolled true.Check out the coy pond behind the 8th tee box.Biggest coy you will ever see.Enjoy!

I have played here before and was looking forward to some great golf.The golf was pretty good but not great.The golf course was a little thin and the water that runs throughout the course was not fully running.Overall I enjoyed myself but I have seen the course in better conditions and they raised the greens fees.
