Played 7-1 at 630am with jfuzz. Teamed up with 2 singles. Behind the dreaded 5some. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were a little slow. Minimal amount of unrepaired ball marks. Looks like they put new sand in the bunkers as it was very soft and made for a few fried egg lies in our group. #3 tee box was uneven but the rest were ok. I like the course and will be back.

Played Tijeras Thursday and Friday this week. Course is in good shape. Greens are getting faster. There are still a few bumps on them and a few rough areas but very improved over the last couple of months. If the neighbors would just stay off the front 9 at night and quite hitting pitch shots into the greens they would be much better.

Love the layout and the customer service is best around. Dawn, Nicole and Amy are the best bev cart girls anywhere.

Another GK Extravaganza!!!!! What a blast. Thanks to my playing partners for such a great day. Course was fan-freakn-tastic. Fairways were generous and if you sprayed a bit the side mounds could throw your ball back into the fairway. Unless you, I don't know, whats bigger than sprayed? Fan? Your drives and hit into somebody's kitchen the ball usually came back. Unless you're JohnnyGK your ball is off the roof, off the cart path nothing but fairway.

Greens rolled well and I thought held shots. Def must hit it on the green or you will add squiggly numbers to your scorecard. Bar service from Kelly was great. Double burger was fantastic and so were the wings and cold beer.

If you haven't played in an event you need to get to one. Great folks playing the game we love. Don't think of it as a tournament. Not a lot of competition out there. Yea we keep score mostly cuz that's what you do when you golf. It's about playing somewhere you may have never played with folks you have something in common with. Even if you have never met them before. It's about the experience not the score.

Played the South course today. Played the north course last month and did not get a chance to post that one. Is there such a thing as too much service? Free valet, carry and load your clubs free range balls (off astro turf). Sometimes when I am met at my car I feel rushed and always forget something. I'm sure its just me.

Course is in great shape. South greens rolled great but were a tad slower than the notrth last month. Wasn't in any bunkers. Views are fantastic and you can see or hear the ocean on most holes. Great experience. Course can be narrow with a few forced carries. Only a par 70. Par 3's were pretty short but well bunkered. Not very many slopes on the greens. I think there were 3 greens that had triple tiers. Nice place to spend the day.

Played Talega at 9am. Pretty crowded but we still played in 4:20. No waiting really, moved along nicely. Pretty windy today off the ocean. Tees, fairways and bunkers all good. Greens had some patchwork sod laid on a few holes. But I thought they were fine. Held shots well and rolled true. Bev cart around 3 or 4 times. Great day at Talega.

Played in the GK event this afternoon. What a great experience. Course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and rolled well. Some humps in the greens and tight pin placements added to the challenge. Fairways were nice and the rough was inconsistent. I think they do a great job of maintaining the parts of the course where you are supposed to play from. Hit it off the course and good luck finding it or if you do find it it will be tough to get a club on it.

I wish I had the bartenders name. She was great. Very personable and she was there when I ordered my breakfast sandwich which was very good and she was there when we ordered the last beer.

Another great GK event. Well worth the trip.

Played Sunday morning. Put us out behind 2 5somes!!!! "But they said they'll play fast" the starter tells us. 5 hours and 15 minutes later....There was no one out there today except everyone behind these two groups.

Eagle Glen doesn't get it. The place is empty because they pull crap like this. It is well do c&me nted here. The course is great but as long as they insist on putting out 5somes. No way I go back anytime soon.

Played at 7:22 this morning as a 2some. Off right on time. Played the front in about 1:20. Back was a little slower but not a big deal. Maybe 1:45. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes were a little shaggy and needed to be cut. Couple of the bunkers were being maintenanced (#11). But I thought they were fine. Greens were fast and a little hard. Play to the front and plan on it releasing. I thought they rolled very well though. One of my favorite courses to play. Glad we got out early as there were 3 holes open behind us and I know there was a 5some behind that.

Played at 9am on Sunday morning. Beautiful day with a light breeze. Course in pretty good shape. Greens recovering from being punched but no sand on them. They were actually pretty fast just a little bumpy. Played in about 4.25 hours in a dreaded 5some. Probably worth the $55 with a cart. Started on teh back not sure why...

Played at 1:20 this afternoon. Played in about 4 1/4 hrs. Waited a little but nothing to talk about. Greens were great. Nearly twice as fast as to what I am used to. Very smooth and very few ball marks. Used the 2-1 couponwhich is a great deal for $55. Would not pay the $110 for weekday golf. Place is nice but not over the top.

Customer service has improved here too. No marshall but the bev cart around 3 times and the bag staff was very attentive.

Greens and fairways are begining to harden up a bit. Rough has been cut down. It is still lush and plentiful. I got a lot more run on the fairways than usual. #2 and #15 greens were pretty hard. They seem to be more exposed to the wind than the other greens. Awesome day great course and fantastic service.

Played at 7:30 this morning. Course is in very good shape. First 6 greens were still wet as they had not been cut yet. Rough is up more than I have ever seen it here. GM says they will have to cut it down as it affects pace of play too much. They have added sand to most of the bunkers. You may get a fried egg once in a while.

Played in exactly 4 hours. No one in front of us no one behind us. Gary McCord was at the course after our round for a charity tournament.
