Played the Friday before New Years. A great day for golf. The staff was very friendly. Starter at 1st tee gave some great tips. The course is fun and challenging. Course was in good condition Greens have lots of undulation in them making for some tricky putts. It is one of those course where you would score much better the second time once you get the layout of the course. For $49 a great deal.

New management has great customer service and the course is in great shape.

GREAT COURSE! layout was incredible. very fun but challenging course. first cut rough isn't bad, but any further out and you're in trouble. the fairways were a bit dead, but nothing terrible. the greens were in not so good condition. i guess you can't ask for too much for the winter. paid $49 for a weekend twightlight rate. finished 18 after starting after 1pm. very nice people at desert dunes. A+!

Played this course recently in perfect Fall desert conditions. The greens were extremely true but challenging. Beautiful natural desert vegetation with no tract homes or developments in sight. Nothing easy about the layout, with significant undulations and links style pit bunkers. Highly enjoyable, engaging round of golf! Definitely a hidden gem worth even the high season weekend fees - but truly a bargain for twilight or off-season rates.

Played 9/16/05; this is one of the best courses and toughest ones I have ever played. A true Scottish links course by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course is subject to high winds, which makes it very tough. The 16th green is worth the round extremely pretty, and the double green on the 9th & the 18th is a good touch.

Fun layout,they were cross cutting the fairways and there were a lot of clippings not yet gathered up, just moved it outa the way and off we went. Greens are bermuda I guess,not used to that and it was fun reading the grain and trying to remember where the heck Indio was. $29 green fee for a quality course a very good deal. dont look for high end bar and food, not there,who cares?? A very fun day if ya miss the wind. If you are doing a couple of days in the Palm Springs valley and want a quick round this is the place.
