Played 3/20/12 and again 3/26/12. Conditions were the usual first class. Was particularly impressed by how well the course had drained from the heavy rains on Sunday 3/25. Some changes I noticed since last visit. New PA system to call people to the first tee is a bit too LOUD!! You can hear it just about anywhere on the golf course. More signage around the cart paths including new yardage information boards at each tee. Did I imagine there were more ballwashers the first time I played only to find them missing the second visit? New cartpath arrangement at the 18th white teebox. Some new construction at the far end of the driving range - golf school facility perhaps?
Greens were recently spiked and sanded and are almost back to normal. Cart girl in evidence multiple times. Pond scum removed/disappeared from lake on 18th and evidence of new aeration system. Still too many coots on the course. And lots of waterfowl too (LOL)
Goose Creek remains at or near the top for quality golf experience in Riverside county.

Braved the rain and played 3/25 as part of a church outing. Aside from the weather, all was great.
Service: great until we got to the first tee. I had asked ahead of time if they needed a pairing list, and they said just have people pay and head to the first tee when our group was called. We were called well before our tee time (12:30pm) and that was great. Except the starter didn't seem to have a clue. He kept radioing back to ask how many people paid. I asked if he wanted the receipts, at first he said no, then he changed his mind. I felt he was sort of rude and was kind of accusing us of not paying...other than that, service was good.
Tee box: very lush and level. In great shape
Fairways: Like carpet. Very few unrepaired divots. All in all, very very good shape.
Rough: Long and sort of tough. Very nice though
Bunkers: in decent shape.
Greens: Probably the worse part because they just punched in about a week ago. Before the rain started coming down, it was pretty fast and bumpy. No shots would hold. Then the rain came and slowed them down a bit.

All in all, the course was in really really nice conditions.

Tee boxes and fairways were in the usual perfect condition. The greens were a little firm and not holding shots as well as in the past. This can be a problem here with all of the false fronts and run offs on these greens. More ball marks than usual! Come on people how hard is it to fix a few.
Overal a great afternoon. perfect weather -great partners and a perfect course.

Played here last Monday. Little bit of wind and rain. Course was in good shape. Greens were rolling nice. The faster the better for me. It wasn't playing its full length but with the wind that was a good thing. Pace of play was ok. I guess the wind and rain slowed some people down. I will be back soon to play in better weather. Always liked this course. Glad to see they are keeping it in good shape.

I have played this golf course a ton over the last couple weeks in prep for today's pre-qualifier for the NT. I have to say that this is, along with the IKE (which is the real qualifier for the NT), this golf course was in perfect shape. They had everything plush today. Greens- Perfect Fairways- Perfect Rough- Perfect Tees- Perfect. For my first qualifier I was proud of the 77 I shot today, especially because I made a triple on 5 and a double on 12. 4 birdies and a great round. I commend Goose Creek on all levels and I think it speaks volumes that it is one of the most reviewed golf courses on this site. I encourage anybody who wants a challenge and a great time for a reasonable price, go to Goose Creek. Stop reading this email and get off the computer and get out there.

One of my favorite courses, I play here often. However, over the last year the flippin' COOTS have taken over and begun to ruin the 18th hole. This is just ridiculous! The course needs to take some action and eradicate these pests. They are no different than rats or cockroaches...take some action or they will slowly ruin this course and it will affect our willingness to come back. I'm tired of having to wade through coot crap and have it get all over my shoes and clubs.
