Did our annual two night, three day, six round trip. Can't say enough about Singing Hills/Sycuan. Great courses. Great customer service. Great bargain. Oak Glen was in good shape. The greens were very good, considering they had been punched around the first of June. No signs of it. It's shorter course, but trees and wind will get you. No real rough to speak of. Good course to play when you go for package. Regular price for first round; then second round each day is just $12. Can't beat it. A nice course and resort.

The course is in great shape right now. The starter did a great job getting us out on a very busy Saturday afternoon. One of the better values in San Diego County.

We take an annual trip to the syucan resort (previously known as Singing Hills) and the conditions continually surprise us. These were the best greens we've played in a long time. Soft. Receptive. Rolled very true. You could go right at the pins cuz everything stuck. Fairways were cut tight. Rough defined them nicely. Not overly long. But, good variety of holes. Wonderful customer service. It's a great place to play golf.

This course is a lot of fun. The playing conditions are above-average--although one green (No. 5) has some problems (disease?). With the sweetwater river full to the brim because of all the recent rains, it adds additional character to the course. Usually the "river" is just a deep, dry, canal. Now it is a flowing river with some rapids, waterfalls, etc., and the holes that play along side the river (or require shots over the river) are a lot more interesting.

I understand that there are plans underway to lengthen the course to 7000+ yards in order to make it a PGA-tour type facility.

This course was in great condition and a pleasure to play. The staff was great as usual. They run tournaments well.

Oak Glen is the least favored of the two courses at Singing Hills yet still a wonderful test of golf. We went on a two day golf trip and I played two rounds on Oak Glen alone in a little over two hours each. Place was deserted on Monday, much busier on Tuesday and Wednesday. Greens roll true and are immaculate. Fairways were in very good shape. Rough isn't tall, yet still an issue if you get stuck in it. Only complaint would be wet sand in traps, due to much watering of the course. It's a great place to play.

I enjoyed this course. Shot my best score ever, a 77. Even though I shot well, I felt that the course was fairly easy. Only few narrow fairways (maybe they seemed wide, since I was hitting straight down the middle). Most of the holes are straight, some with a slight turn, no serious doglegs. Nice par three with water in front
