Your "GO TO" shot...
Monday October 10, 2016 8:36pm

Sometime, during our rounds of golf, there comes a time when a "GO TO" shot is required. Whether it be hitting a fairway, getting out of a bunker (NOT TRAPS),particular yardage attempt etc... What is your "GO TO" shot (attempt)? Fore me, it has become hitting a "BABY FADE" off the tee box to hit a tight landing fairway to avid trouble. Look forward to your comments....

Handicap
Thursday September 8, 2016 3:28pm

Recently played in a fun tourney, I told event organizers my estimated handicap is "30". On day of event, it was reduced to "25". After the round which I carded a "96", my handicap was questioned since I played better than a "25" in their opinion! Yet, the GK CDF shows the round as 28.7 which was more accurate than some event organizer claimed I was lower than a 25! Hey, I'm no sandbagger! It had been over TWO years since I last played (18) holes, CLOSE to THREE years I played a few (18) rounds & MAYBE ONE (9) hole round, let alone to have any time to practice just putting & chipping before I lost energy! NOT ONE RANGE BALL WAS HIT. Keep in mind I'm a STAGE FOUR CANCER Patient with somewhere between 8~9 cancerous tumors from my liver to masses on my left lung lobes. Oh, btw I'm always on schedule every TWO week for chemotherapy treatment of FOUR aggressive cancer fighting drugs! I'll be looking for responses....
