Been playing a long time, but still don't break a 100 very often. I'm a serious golfer in the sence that I try to play the ball as it lies, and the course as I find it. I keep score until I have a blow-up hole that I honestly can't put a number down, at that point I just call it a practice round and continue keeping score on the rest of my round. I don't have an offical HC, which is a contradiction of being a serious golfer, I also don't know the rules as well as I should even though I am a USGA member, they send me The Rules of Golf every year, I read the book and do the best I can to be honest. I truly Love this game even though I have quit it a couple of times, with age comes wisdom and I have resigned myself to the fact that my game may never get a whole lot better, but hey I do this for fun, life is short, and in 100 years nobody will really care if I ever was that good anyway.
