I moved back to the US about a year and a half ago after living in Sydney for seven years. While there, I formed a joint venture between Greg Norman and the Australian Agricultural Company to produce an export range of branded beef, Greg Norman Australian Prime. (Now you can see why he's my favorite golfer.) A few months after we started shipping to the US, I moved back to run the company and brought with me my Australian wife, Marita.
Living in Manhattan Beach, we're a little challenged by having to drive 45 minutes minimum to play a good course, but we're getting used to it. In Sydney, good courses are never more than 20 minutes away and cost half the price to play and nearly nothing to join! But having been brought up on the East Coast, I'm awed by the beauty of some of the courses around here and enjoy playing them very much.
