Grew up in a golf household, but wasn't taught because "it's too difficult to teach lefties."
Both parents and sister played while I traveled the world in a tourism career. Later developed arthritis and thought I'd never play.
Started volunteering for charity tournaments & began playing them. After all, look at Phil Mickelson, a left-handed guy with arthritis!
My daughter took an interest at age 9 when she attended the Tiger Woods Learning Center program and more recently at age 14 and made her school's varsity golf team as a freshman. Currently, I'm directing marketing for Orange County golf courses to draw vacation and business travelers to our courses and hotels.
