Didn't think it was going to be so slow, but there were a ton of people like me from out of town. A 5 hour vacation round is not fun at all! This course has many out of bounds areas and everyone spends a lot more time than they should looking for balls. At the end, it was just tedious. Tee boxes were good to great with some not so level. Fairways had excellent coverage with no rough to speak of. The rough that was there was only an inch longer than the fairway and didn't stop balls from rolling off OB. This course places a premium on accuracy and if you're off, be prepared to lose balls. Sand was ok and was a mixture of sand, dirt and pebbles. Greens were rolling good and fast. Very little divot damage due to the firmness and balls had a tendency to bounce and fly off the back if you're not careful. The wicked 6 lived up to it's name with all but the par 3 14th playing up hill. The club house had it going on with all the fountains and the waterfalls just outside of the bar area- it was great sitting area for before or after your round. » Close Played 11/12/25 @ 109pm twilight- almost didn't finish before dark. It's cart path only for a little while longer after the overseed. Conditions were nice, borderline great. Tee boxes were nice and level with good coverage- par 3s are on the chewed up side. Fairways were really good with excellent coverage. Rough was only a little longer than the fairway and at times thick with some balls sinking down and hard to find. Sand traps were the only downside of the course with only a thin layer of dirt/sand over a hard bottom. Greens were awesome and rolled wonderfully. They were somewhat hard and dried out and balls would bound off if not struck well. Customer service was top notch with everyone friendly and trying to help you. I would definitely play this track again on my next visit. » Close Played 10/19/25 @ 0900. What a sad day to find out one of my favorite courses is being cut down once again! Hole #15 (a par 5) is now going to be a permanent par 3. They are redoing the scorecards because the course is now a par 69 instead of a par 71. Conditions of the course are fair to good at best. They had us playing the red tees the entire day. Tee boxes were not very level and you really have to look to find a level spot. Fairways were soggy in the morning but dried up towards the afternoon, but people were still driving in the wet spots and making a mess. Sand traps are always a mixed bag here, so try and stay out of them. Some are hard as a rock with little sand in them and some are decent. Greens were bumpy but rolled fast. Many unrepaired ball marks on almost every green. It's a shame what they're doing to this course by taking away a really fun par 5. I probably won't be playing here very often anymore... » Close Played 10/15/25 @720. All 18 holes are now open, they said all the major improvements have been completed. There are still some items being worked on peripherally but all the fairways are open with some occasional GUR areas. Great playing conditions all around. It was cart path only today because of all the rain yesterday but everything was in great shape. Tee boxes were very level with minimal issues. Fairways were soggy but dried out towards the afternoon. Sand traps were very consistent- nice and fluffy (both fairway and greenside). Greens were rolling awesome! They were very quick but held nicely with approach shots. They also became quicker once the sun came out. Many multi-tiered greens made putting fun or frustrating depending on your perspective. I'm glad they finally got everything straightened out because this is one of my favorites in the higher end course category. » Close
