I am an addicted golfer and currently the COO for GolfTraxx, a start-up smart phone GPS Golf Application company. GolfTraxx provided distances to front, center and back of the green as well as reach and carry distances for an unlimited number of targets/hazards per hole. GolfTraxx is currently available for the iPhone 3G, Blackberry (Storm, Bold, 88xx, Curve and Pearl), Treo, and a multitude of Windows Mobile and Pocket PC based smart phones/PDAs. I am an ex competitive tennis player that wishes I had spent the 30 years tearing up my body playing Tennis on the Golf Course. My knees hurt, my back & shoulder both need surgery and my wrists are shot. Hey, I'm still walking, so life IS good! I am a 24 HC, and am playing the equivalent of 20 rounds per year now. Typically I play 3 - 7 holes late in the afternoon as a walk on to a course in my neighborhood and I am looking forward to get to 50 - 100+ rounds/yr once GolfTraxx takes off.
