Getting Back To It!

Hi all,
It's been 3 years since I've swung a club due to injuries, working too much, and a couple of other more serious issues. Well, I'm back, a bit older, a bit heavier, & a bit less strong, but excited none the less.
I've spent a full month on the range before signing up for my 1st tee time in what seemed like forever. I tried to get to the range 3 times a week, sometimes simply to putt & chip, but usually also to hit a medium bucket. It's been like riding a bike. A touch too wobbly at first, but with a few more tries things began falling into place. Getting the swing grooved again was a challenge. Dealing with some lost distance is a little challenging (mostly mentally), but wow, how I've missed the game! There is still a lot of tweaking before I can be somewhat comfortable on course again. finally, Covid has had it's impact and everything seems so different, but I'm confident things will fall back into place soon.
I can't wait to get back out there with the GK'ers. I always had great times when playing with this group and anticipate many more going forward. It looks like my first outing will be Mt. Woodson, a course I've never played, but I love a challenge so I'm really excited about getting out there.
I hope this post finds you all well! Enjoy your days and I look forward to meeting some of you soon!
