I think it's coming back?

i played 2 rounds over the weekend, one at Simi Hills (91) & the other at Los Robles Greens (87). Although I'm still giving away many shots, missing easy approaches and as always chipping is killing me, I was ok with it all. After some tweaks to my swing with the Driver, finally some distance is coming back. I hit the ball well off the tee at Simi, but struggled a bit at Los Robles. I'm not sure why the struggle but I suspect my swing thoughts were way to mechanical instead of just trusting the work I had ben doing at the range and as a result, I was almost always tweaking during the round which is never a good thing. My other real concern right now is that as a result of the swing changes with the driver, I seem to have lost my consistency & accuracy with my irons. Again, I'm sure it's because of overthinking things and i will work at that going forward and hopefully soon everything will begin coming together. Then my concern will be the chipping. All in all, I had a great time at both curses, played with some great friends, and was simply fortunate to be out there. I wish you all the best and hope to hear from some of you soon! Take Care, John
