Started golf at age 41. Handicapped by a very bad left knee (five surgeries) and a bad right ankle (one major surgery). Enjoy golf thoroughly even when my disabilities prevail. Have to swing with arms only but still can hit the ball fairly far for my age. I was a 24+ handicap for many years until I started watching the Golf Channel, pros on TV (men and women), tips from golf magazines and books, golf videos and practiced the short game. Got as low as a 1.8 on 2002. Now a 5.8. Scores balloon when my legs give out but the GHIN system seems to overlook those bigger numbers. I have fun on the course.
