I've been playing golf since I was about 12, but am still not as good as I should be considering how much I play. Anything mid-80s and below I feel satisfied, but will break 80 from time to time. I love playing courses I haven't played before and recently surpassed 1,000-course mark. I'd much rather play a new course every time than play the same course(s) over and over again.

I am also an avid "road trip" golfer. I've driven up and down the west coast and played many courses in California, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona. I have a personal goal of someday playing golf in all 50 states and I am currently up to 43 (AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV and WY).
