I understand superintendents sometimes decide on maintenance procedures with little lead time. Likely well after we booked. Still a very fun layout and great course. Fun way to cap off a great series of outings this year that began in the beginning of May (NorCal, CentralCal, Palm Springs, Vegas and then San Diego)! Really appreciate everyone that came to a GK Plays outing this year, we’ll likely have one more in December at Rams Hill. Although with the amount of prizes Linksoul and Golf Moose showered on us it sure felt like a year-end outing. Big thanks to sponsors. And an extra big thanks this time to Jeremy at Golf Moose that in addition to providing us gift cards, also set everyone up on a Golf Moose polo.

GK Plays Reflection Bay Golf Club Las Vegas is in the books. Our smallest outing to date yet given all the fun we had, amazing service by Reflection Bay, incredible golf course and awesome prizes, you would never know it.

I need to first and foremost thank GK’er Kevbig who works at Reflection Bay Golf Club and saw to it that we were treated extra special. From the moment I began organizing it to when we left. Service was exceptional from the entire staff all day long. When I came in as the last group there was a long table set up for all of us in the restaurant and all the prizes were beautifully displayed (thanks to Kevbig’s friend Lexi). Caught some decent NorCal weather and the golf course was in great shape. Our POP was over 5 hours however that did not keep any of us from having a great time before, during and especially after the round. I want to do another NorCal outing in October as it was great meeting GK’ers in NorCal for the first time and having them meet each other.

And although the greens were not in typical Rams Hill pure shape, the rest of the golf course was phenomenal. Beautiful weather and wonderful service. We’ll be back again in 2019! Thank you to everyone that came out. I wish I could have got more tee times because I know many others wanted to play. But thankfully Santa jumped in early and came ready to play. Huge thanks to GK’er HmtGolfGuy for making the day even more special. Was a big day for HmtGolfGuy as he was also presented with his mini GK Cup Fall 2018 trophy. Yes everyone Santa has game! We had GK’ers travel a long way to play. Granted Borrego Springs is far for all of us but consider jcrow from Phoenix, xazntigerx from Ohio and bmcnicoll from Edmonton, Canada. Meant a lot. We started 2018 GK Plays outings at Rams Hill and ended it there. Just a fantastic course. And although the greens were not in typical Rams Hill pure shape, the rest of the golf course was phenomenal. Beautiful weather and wonderful service. We’ll be back again in 2019!

Thank you to everyone that came out. I wish I could have got more tee times because I know many others wanted to play. But thankfully Santa jumped in early and came ready to play. Huge thanks to GK’er HmtGolfGuy for making the day even more special.

Was a big day for HmtGolfGuy as he was also presented with his mini GK Cup Fall 2018 trophy. Yes everyone Santa has game!

We had GK’ers travel a long way to play. Granted Borrego Springs is far for all of us but consider jcrow from Phoenix, xazntigerx from Ohio and bmcnicoll from Edmonton, Canada. Meant a lot.

I took a chance scheduling this in the heat of summer in Bullhead City but luckily the weather cooperated and the golf course was about as green as I’ve seen a desert course in the middle of the summer in a long time. Fantastic golf experience.

Was great how we had 6 players to jump in the last week bringing our total to 13 players. Linksoul and GolfMoose provided great prizes as usual and some GK’ers got to discover Laughlin Ranch which IMO is the hidden gem of the southwest right now. You can bet we’ll be having another outing here again. Next time likely in the early Spring so those of you that did not participate because of the heat, you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy it with pleasant temps in 2019. Been reading many of your reviews already – thanks so much. And I know the golf course appreciates them too.

We caught a beautiful day in December that was so nice I was wishing I was wearing shorts. The course conditions immaculate, service wonderful and amenities excellent.

I must thank ALL of YOU first and foremost for coming out! – Seeing GK’ers enjoying a day of golf together is as good as it gets for me.

- A return to CrossCreek Golf Club long overdue. Last time we had an outing here it was in May 2011 in which case we were treated to a great golf experience. We should be catching the course in excellent with great weather. CrossCreek is a very popular golf course on Greenskeeper.org and rightfully so.
This will be our first shotgun start in a long time. 12:00noon giving many of us that I am sure will be traveling a bit to be there in plenty of time. With the long days we’ll finish with lots of day light to spare and time for some cold refreshments afterwards.

We've got tremendous prizes sponsors with Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Linksoul, a comp twosome from Conestoga Golf Club and others.
