We played here a couple days ago teeing off at 7:20 and finishing at 11:00. This is a great course to walk IMO except for the walk up to the 10th tee. Luckily our foursome had two single cart riders so was able to hitch a ride. We don’ Get a chance to play here much based on the high green fees but were able to treat ourselves this week with the $79 dollar senior rate. The course conditions are very nice right now. They throw a lot of water on this course so it is very green but not much roll in spots that were watered. Tees were level, fairways were lush, and the greens rolled smooth, semi fast and held shots. The bunkers were only okay but better than most of the other courses I’ve played. The real challenge was around the greens. Tight lies, flop shots over bunkers, and well placed pins made things interesting for us all. A great golf course with a nice variety of holes. Reachable par 5’s that with risk reward options and a 600 yard one that proved worthy. Great par 3 holes and many other great holes as well. Only wish they had better deals.....» Close

I played here quite a bit in the past but stopped when conditions were not great. Reading GK reviews made me return yesterday with a 7:20 tee time. The course is in much better shape now from previous visits. I can’t say things were lush or pristine but it is well worth the $47 green fee with cart. Greens held shots and rolled smooth, tees level, fairways were okay, rough was inconsistent, and the sand was playable. Pace was slow especially in 85 degree heat. No cart person or Marshall was seen. Finished in 4.5 hours and stopped at the snack bar for a bite to eat. Covid forced them to a limited menu so we asked for the hot dog...........wow I am not a big fan of hot dogs but we all thought it was one of the best we’ve ever had.» Close

I walked on here yesterday at 4:30 and got right out. I haven't played here in a long time but wanted to work on a few things in my game so gave it a try. I would give this course a C for effort. They try to keep the tees level but many different grasses are used. The try to keep the rough cut but fail in many spots. They try to keep the greens nice but the players here don't think fixing their ball marks is their job....at least 10 unrepaired marks per green. They try to keep the pace with 10 minute interval tee times but we never saw a marshall. Lastly, a big F on the rock hard bunkers. If you were lucky enough to to find sand in any of them bravo!! To bad though, they have a nice mix of holes here that would make this place more fun to visit if conditions were bettr.» Close

Played here for only my second time on Friday 6/26/20. This is really a great muni with all kinds of tough but fun holes. The par threes are all great and the lay out is not boring with doglegs, short holes, long holes, elevation changes, trees, and water hazards. I guess it has a little something for everyone. The conditions were a tick up from many other muni’s but many areas could use some TLC. Greens were great rolling semi fast and smooth. If you are not hitting your driver well then it can be a long day here. Consider playing the white tees for a more enjoyable round if the driver isn’t working........I certainly should have.....» Close

Haven’t played here in a long time but finally did yesterday. We had a 7:30 time and got off right on time. There are MANY memorable holes at OAk Quarry and it is easy to get a big number on them if you lose focus. Conditions are excellent right now the the best being the greens. The rolled real smooth and were about 10-11 on the meter. Everything is in top condition with the exception of the bunkers. They were inconstant and could use some more sand. We finished in 4 hours and hated to see our round end.
I can see the point of the last reviewer, there was only one person working in the pro shop and he was checking everyone in, taking payments, scooping range balls, and serving coffee etc. I could easily see how things could get behind as the day goes on. My only problem with the course would be the yardage markers......or lack of them. I could not find any yardages on the sprinkler heads and the GPS on the carts were removed. With all the elevation changes here it would be nice to know the correct distance. I did have a scope but often it could not pick up the flagstick for some reason.
Highly recommend playing here and the senior rate was $65» Close
