I was on another golf site and one of the topics was what is the value in your bag? It really isn't my business to know (nor do I care) how much you spent on clubs and vica versa. However, I'd like to see what clubs are being gamed this season.
I'm pretty Taylormade out. I think most people have this in their profiles.

I am pretty sure my whole set is valued less than those three.
The 3 wood in my bag came from a complete set ($120 from Big 5).

At the moment I have: R9 Clone Driver (Yeah I know "CLONE", prefer to call it a "Component Club"), Callaway 3w & 5w, Walter Hagen irons 3i hybrid, 4i hybrid, 5-PW, 56* SW & 50* wedge from Big 5, Carbite mallet putter.
The less skilled the player, the more likely he is to share his ideas about the golf swing.
You can hit a two acre fairway 10% of the time and a two inch branch 90% of the time.
If your opponent has trouble remembering whether he shot a six or a seven, he probably shot an eight (or worse).

hahahaahaha.... I know that site,
I posted once a shovel, rake, and hoe, and I can still beat your butt.
I got nothing but crap about posting it up,
this is a professional golf site and your humor is not funny....
those guys are full of themselves, light'n up
that site is too full of its self, everyone putting what they have
like that makes them Joe PGA... give me a break
true story,
last yr in Reno at a tourney at Red hawk I came up to this par 4 with a couple
of local kids selling balls... but one of them said he would bet 20.00 he could out drive
anyone in the group.... the kid was a high school 6'3" guy that just looked like a ringer.
kinda like Johnny GK if you know what I mean,
his driver was some older model driver with a good shaft though, I knew better on this one, but
needless to say 2 guys in my group thought they could win some lunch money from this kid.
they put there drives out there, one was right at 300yds... beat that kid....
he tee'd it up and took a warm-up swing and put it out there...... "Holly Crap"
the green was 380yds and his ball was about 20yds just in front of the green...
he said you guys can keep that ball, pay up... lol
the guys on the green were cracking up, and cheering and now I know why....
clubs mean nothing....

I may have shared this story before, but here goes.
About 8 yrs ago I walked on at Griffith Park, they put me out with a 2 some and another single. We walked and the others rode, so we got to talking, he was on a mission to play every course, within a reasonable distance from I-10, on his way from LA to Alabama. He had been recently discharged from the Army on a Section 8 discharge (Mentally Unfit for Service). After 7 yrs active he wanted out so he faked mental illness (I'm still not sure if he was sane or not)
OK, long story short, he was playing with an old set of Wilsons, could hit his persimmon 3w 280-290 yds, made a couple recovery shots worthy of Tiger Spectacular, over trees - bending it around open spots - through the trees, you get my drift. totally agree.
The less skilled the player, the more likely he is to share his ideas about the golf swing.

you can back the theory that clubs are a small percentage
when you watch old films of greats like,
Bobby Jones
Ben Hogan
Walter Hagen
all who all played and won with Hickory Shaft Clubs.
anyone of the them could still give chase to pros today and
surely could be most of us with no problem...
but just so I don't get off topic and try to stay within the topic,
cobra... 1,3,5,7
ping 1994 sq grove 5-LW
mallet putter, rollin
one dead rabbit,
I figured if the foot is good luck,
why not
the whole thing.
