"Played 8/5 at 1:15pm and finished in 6hrs. We followed behind a junior golf tournament and boy was it slow. Especially the back 9. The course is in the middle of taking it's summer beating and it showed. Many brown spots throughout the course but playable. The greens are very slow and bumpy right now. The last 4 holes on the back 9 greens were very bumpy w/ many ball marks. Probably because players are usually tired and don't care about proper etiquette near the end of the round.....I don't know.
Take care of the courses you play on people. I know you will play them again. These city courses that offer up great tracks at an amazing value. Walking w/ a pull cart will run you $29 at Rancho. The Par 3 3rd Hole is playing the alternate greens today and that is the only deviation from what is always an enjoyable and challenging round at Rancho Park."
