Cleveland 270 Classic Driver The Cleveland 270 Classic Driver is the most advanced combination of style and performance in a titanium driver: The Classic 270 has a unique sole design and color scheme inspired by persimmon drivers and a pear-shaped profile with the largest, deepest club face ever produced by Cleveland Golf. The face promotes a hot, penetrating ball flight, while MaxCOR2 technology provides maximum distance on off-center hits. The Classic 270 is engineered with Ultralite technology, helping players generate increased head speed and distance with the same swing effort. Its also part of the RightWeight Fitting System – with an overall weight of 270 grams, the Classic 270 is ideal for players seeking maximum head speed and distance. Cleveland Classic 270 Driver 10.5
Monday September 17, 2012
Here is another BIG Plus for a great product. Used it for the first time today and my fairways hit went up by better than 10%. Great feel and the light weight gives more head speed without extra effort. I hit distances on a familiar course that I've never hit with my previous driver.

None of the "tinny" sound of some other drivers.. Just a solid feel without a tendency to go off line on a mis-hit in spite of the light overall weight. I never imagined a 39 gram shaft could be so accurate. In testing it showsed no tendency to vibrate off line as in some other shafts and almost identical results each time. This could explain the consistency on the course.

Whatever the reason, this HAS to be the BEST $199 driver out there with Cleveland's new pricing. You'll love it as I do.

Cleveland Classic Driver
Tuesday August 7, 2012
I have bought and returned this driver and then re-bought it again. I hit the Titleist 910 d3 10.5 with ez confidence and it goes! But I used to hit a persimmon back in high school. There is nothing like this feeling. Except with the Cleveland Classic. I have a 290. When they say "This is what golf should feel like" They are not kidding. The sound and feel when hitting a ball is like.... well, hitting someone in the chest as hard as you can and having them fall back on their butt!
A little pricey but I got the one I returned for 149! I'm more accurate with the Titleist but it's not as fun to hit. I looks b$tch en!

This driver is nearing the total package. Its best feature is its stunning looks. The feel can be better compared to an actual wood driver as opposed to more modern metal woods.

I Love This Club – More Control – Beautiful
Tuesday April 3, 2012
Cleveland Classic Driver with Miyazaki 43s Authentic C.Kau Shaft

It’s fantastic. I'm actually hitting a 290 with 7.5 loft. The classic style head allows me to set up the club in a very consistent manner as far as alignment with the sweet spot for a center hit every time. I’ve have been playing golf for over 25 years and my first woods were persimmon. Granted the head on my old persimmon was twice a small, this club certainly gives me a similar perception which I like. For some reason I’m focusing more on the club head instead of grip and ripping. The results have been more control of the club head and straighter shots.

The feel of the club is like no other metal wood I’ve hit before. I don’t hear the loud bam but rather an almost wood sounding thud. How refreshing. And hit I hit it I feel very little vibration. Maybe this is because of what I mentioned above about hitting the sweet spot more often but all I know is it feels great.

One of my personal favorite traits about the Cleveland Classic Driver is its looks. It’s a beauty. Deep Burgundy/Gold and the head cover is traditional old school black/white synthetic leather looking.

Overall, I’m already loving this club and have yet to totally dial it in. This is going to be in my bag for a long time. Highly Recommend.
