Very good older technology

Still use this one. It came out in 2009 and only has the adjustable hosel NOT the weighting system. If you simply want to change the face angle and loft, this is very easy to do and helps you get the ball going straighter.
Being an engineer, I added lead tape to mine to simulate the R9 (2010 version) with the movable weights without the extra $100.
All of this is moot now with the R11 but this is still a very good club for somebody starting out or who doesn't need 639 different lie/loft/weighting combinations.

my fav taylormade of all time
Monday November 2, 2009
i know taylormade puts out tons of drivers out and there the all the best as far as taylormade says but really think this thing is the best so far the. This driver has ever bell and whistle out there and they work and make sence im mean read the spec. this can change with your swing if your a newbee and you can bomb it down the middle if your a old pro, just go hit this driver and see what you think but play with it you will find a few seting that will fit your needs and dont just get a x shaft jsut cause you hit it hard take your time a see what one you hit best i feel like some of them are off

my new favorite driver
Tuesday August 25, 2009
I am pretty new to golf and my HC is dropping fast. The 460 is a big help in getting me there. I wanted something forgiving with lower spin. I am 6'3" and I also like being able to set the club more upright. I compared this to my old Nike Sumo^2 5900 and was getting significantly less sidespin which resulted in more fairways. My misses tend to be right and moving to this club meant the fringe vs OB with the Nike. This is the longest driver I have used thus far and is very forgiving.
