Good Ball
Tuesday April 29, 2014
I like this ball a lot. It seems to function pretty well as a women's ball- I don't have a super slow swing speed but the ball comes off the driver crisp and clean. I've gained about 10yds with it. I like the feel and it seems to wear very well. If I had a complaint it would be that there's some color differentiation between sleeves. Some are a translucent yellow (very cool) while others are a more solid yellow. This is so NOT a big deal! I'll keep playing this ball.

this ball is a nice ball. the ball has decent amount of spin and has average distance. the outer layer of the ball is very soft maybe even to soft. scuffs and scrapes easily but dosent crack at all. this ball is good but not quite compareable to the new prov1. have played both yellow and white balls and they seem about the same.

Z-Star

Got a sleeve of these at the Monarch Outing.....played with them yesterday and enjoyed the golf ball alot....seems like the outside core of the ball does not get damaged much. Approach shots were holding like darts and I liked the feel of this ball when chipping. This ball traveled pretty well also....hit several balls over 300yds with the driver.....I am going to continue to try this ball out over the next several rounds and see how it reacts with putting on a long-term basis....but it seems like a good all around ball

Will be our Official Ball again - 2011
Thursday October 21, 2010
I like this ball so much and everyone that has been winning them at our outings has too so I've made the decision have the Z-Star be our official ball for 2011 too. I'm also going to order yellow ones. Personally, I have not found a better all around golf ball. The other day I hit a Titliest NXT Tour and I felt like I was playing a Rock-Flite since I was so used to the Z-Star. This ball is durable, spins great, goes far and feels exceptional on the greens.

I am so happy I won a sleeve of these at the last gk outing. I am very impressed with the way this ball feels off the driver. Great distance. I have never had so many balls spin back from approach shots from 150 yards and three different courses even. Wedge shots, will have to start trying to get past the pin and have them come back! They are great around the greens chipping and putt very well. I will be sad to lose one and maybe even have to go buy them. I will though if I lose them, they last a long time. Great golf ball!

yellow is in

This yellow Srixon Tour Z Star X is easy to see in the grass and from afar. The best thing about this ball was its durability. I played 12 holes with it and there was not much wear shown on the cover. They are not cheap golf balls but I think they are here to stay yellow or white.

Spin- as little as possible for drives & as much as you need on approaches
Wednesday March 31, 2010
A ball that plays well spins very little on drives. That's to get the maximum distance. It would also minimize curvature to a subtle draw & fade.

A ball that plays well reacts and spins well to irons when you want it to spin.

A ball that plays well putts great with a feel.

I play a lot of golf and have played many of the Srixon Z Star in multiple rounds. Durability is a must when playing a ball over 36 holes. I like that the shine stays for a long time.

The cost is lower than many high end ball products.

Srixon Z Star has all of the above qualities and THAT FITS MY GAME.

Reminds me of the original pro v1
Monday March 22, 2010
This ball is great, very workable. More controlled spin then the pro v1 and good distance. This ball is optimal around the greens, fantastic feel
and very consistant. In the past month I have played the taylormade tp,
pro v1, callaway tour and the z-star. For me its the z-star for overall
performance.

Best ball I have used
Saturday February 27, 2010
This ball is the best all around ball I have used. It flies far, spins off the irons and is soft on the putter face. A very durable cover also. Price is the only drawback, but I will pay it for the performance it provides. Now don't go and "improve" it!

best ball ever
Friday August 28, 2009
this ball is amazing...it does everything i could possibly want. it has the distance, spin, feel, and durability i want in a ball, and usually then some. it has a super thin cover, which when you think about it, is better because all the technology is inside...a thin cover lets you get at that stuff better. i played a titleist prov1x before this one, and i'll never go back to any other ball. if they put any muscle into advertising, you'd be playing it too! and trust me, you should absolutely go get a sleeve and try them out...you'll love them.

Very Underrated
Tuesday June 30, 2009
If Srixon had the marketing share that Titleist has this ball would probably be one of the top three balls purchased. It is long of the driver and does not have excess spin. I think the performance on full shots with this ball is matched by its performance on half swing shots. This baby checks up quickly and rolls as true as any other ball on the putting greens. A high quality premium ball that anyone could benefit from.

Shortgame magic
Saturday May 16, 2009
The Z-Star is the best shortgame ball I've ever played - spins like crazy when I ask it to, but can be rolled out also - just very responsive. Probably too spinny for higher swingspeeds, since it reels back for me off a 9i (130 club). Plenty long off the driver but it's around the green that it shines the most. My new ball, replacing the ProV

The next pro-v1
Sunday May 10, 2009
I would say this definitely rates up with the pro-v1. Everything went great with this ball. I felt confident hitting shots knowing the ball would do what i want. Also has a great price

This ball is HOT!!
Saturday April 11, 2009
This is a great ball. I've played balls from every golf ball brand, and this is the best! It is long and does spin. Has great feel and is worth the price!
