Sonocaddie V-500
Sunday June 12, 2011
I just received the Sonocaddie V-500 for a Christmas Present. I live in Minnesota, so didn't get a chance to use it until this June 2011. The one really only good thing about the product is that it is accurate. Besides that, the product clip used to hold the product on SUCKS!!! You have to make double sure it snaps onto the GPS properly, otherwise it will fall out. This happen to me 6 times in the first 3 times I used the product. If not properly snapped in when I bent down to line up a putt, it would fall out. One time I actually thought I had lost it because after finishing up golfing, and driving home, and when I got home I went to unsnap it, and the GPS was not on the clip. I paniced, and began checking my car, I called the golf course, where i just played, etc. After check ing my car for the 3rd time I finally found it. It had slipped off and slide behind the drivers seat. Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus for helping me find it, because it cost $384.00, and I had only used it a few times I call the company, and spoke with customer service, and found out that they are only a contract company that does service for the real company called Sonostar which is located in Taiwan. I wanted to speak or write to the president to let them know I paid $384.00 for their product, and their device for carring the product which is just something you clip onto your belt, and then snap the GPS onto it SUCKS!!!. No way can you get ahold of anybody really in charge. My recommendation is NEVER PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, because you will not get any service, and the probability of losing it is high
