Played 5-3-13 @ 12:40 pm. First time on the Babe. Oh yes I will be back. This course is in the best condition of all the courses I have played recently in the IE. Tees, fairways, traps, greens are in great shape. Course plays slow. So bring your patience. Hit it straight and you will have an opportunity at your approach. 2 complaints. Trim the tee off the 5th tee and people fix your divots. The greens were immaculate. Except for the previous groups who refused the repair there ball marks. You know who you are. Keep the greens nice and do your part !!!

Played Friday 4-19-13. I agree with previous post. Eagle has the hottest snack cart girls around. The course is getting better. Signs of money being spent on the course. Keep it up. This is a great course and really needs some updating. Tees, traps and greens are good. The fairways need work. Too many tight lies and multiple types of grass growing. Not to mention dirt lies in the middle of the fairway. It appears they are working on it. Greens, tees and traps first. Lets hope fairways next. Gotta punch those Bermuda grass fairways !!!

Played 4-13-13. Course was in great shape. Its an older traditional style layout. Great course if you can get the locals discount. I believe they get it it for $ 32.00. We paid $ 120.00. If you can get it for $ 50-60 it will be well worth it. Fun course nonetheless. You have to move the ball here. Especially with the wind blowing across the course. Keep in mind. Hit that longer club if your thinking about it. The wind knocks the ball down here. Has some sneaky water hazards. So be aware. Especially the first hole.

played 4-8-13. Course was in great shape. Greens had a tough winter. But they rolled well. This is a must play in Vegas. Beautiful views from every hole. Every hole is a photo op. I love the transition from the white sand into the water. And the contrast of the dormant bermuda. If your in Vegas and you have time to golf. Play this course. Its a beautiful layout. Staff treated us very well. Will play it again.

Played 4-3-13 8 am. Let me start with WOW !!!. What a golf course. If you have time to golf on Oahu. This is a must play bucket list course. By the 3rd hole you will quickly forget wanting to play next to the ocean. How often do you get a chance to play in a rain forest/ jungle. Its only about a 30 min. ride from Waikiki. Take the H3. Its about a 10 mile long bridge with a mile long tunnel through a mountain. Awesome ! Word of advice. Call the course and get proper directions. My GPS on my iphone did not deliver me to the course. Course is a very tight from the tee. So choose your tee wisely. I played from the resort tee. 140 slope. 6,406 yds. Ironic I know. Should have played the Champ tee. Slope 150. LOL. All the pins were middle back and back. So it added enough length on my iron shots to mix it up. # 1 key here. Hit it straight. Off the course is dropping another ball. Lost 3. But did not feel bad about it. 2 were from not knowing where to hit it. Some blind shots. They put a direction stick at the 150 yd marker. Works great on most holes. So hit for it. However some holes if you can't see past it. Don't go by it. Some holes you will layup to a gorge. Then hit over it to the green. # 11 Par 5 blind tee. So aim at the pine trees on right side and work it left. Should find the middle. Course was wet so little to no roll. Still only needed driver 4 times. They were working on the front half of the greens. But the area that was not being aerated putted good. I am already looking forward to my next trip to Oahu. Definitely playing this course again. I posted some pictures so you can see the course.

Played 3-27-13 2:30 pm. Winds blows every afternoon. Course is in good condition. Greens still recovering from aeration. Need a few more weeks. Then back to being one of the IE's best.

Played Tues. 3-5-13 8:30 am. This tucked away in the hills of Yorba Linda course is a must play. Greens are hard, fast and tough to hold. Added to that all the false front and slopes. Very tough to putt. 3 x par 3's on the front. 8 being the toughest. Rated 3 on the handicap. WOW !!!. Hilly course with high demand on your tee shots. Par 5's are all reachable. With a good tee ball. Hit 5 wood off the tee on 2 and got home. Pured it on 18. Landed on in 2. 2 putted down a cliff to save birdie. Good day. Will play again.

Played Fri. 3-1-13 @ 10:40 am. Course is in good shape. Fairways are dormat, short , tight and dry. The rest of the course is great. Greens are the best part of the course. This course is very tight. You have to hit it straight here. Not a long course. Nice layout in the foothills of Fullerton. Maturing course. Lots of trees, great white sand traps, elevated tees, and some water. Real nice water features at 9 & 18. Worth another loop.

Teed off at 11 am. Light rain our entire round. It was playable and we enjoyed it. Course was in good shape. Tees flat and green, fairways green, and good lies, However the greens were extremely slow. Course is not typical of a Pete Dye course. Tougher than your normal Palm Desert course. Multiple tees for all levels. Very fair from the tee. Alot of bunkering. Some holes have the bulk heads w/water. Which adds to the fun of hitting a shot to a tight pin over water. Best part about the course. The 18th hole. Water all the way down the left side and you have to hit a tee shot. Not worth the winter green fee. But will be at summer. rates.

Played this course Friday 1-11-13. First off. I will say. They have done a fantastic job of overseeding the tees, fairways and greens. And allowing the dormat bermuda to do its job. The contrast of the dormat bermuda and the overseeded fairways really gives you a great way to view the course. With that said, course was in superb shape from tee to green. Course has mulitple tees for all levels. Not a difficult course. Has some nice water features, plenty of sand and mounds to save an offline tee shot. We must of caught this course in benine conditions. No wind. Check the weather before you go. Its fairly close to the freeway. Wind could be a factor. Other than that. Its a good course and will paly it again.

Played Fri. 11-23-12. Weather was perfect. Play was 5.5 hrs. Course condition was poor to fair. Tee boxes are terrible, fairways are decent with dormat bermuda, greens were inconsistent and bumpy. Not a good review. Course is usually better than this.

Played Friday 10-26-12. Course in pretty good condition. Tees boxes on par 3's need work. New tee on 16 not open yet. Upper tee on 2 is a tougher tee shot. Like it better than the lower tee. Greens were inconsistent. Some fast, some medium and some slow. Tough to get the right distance on long putts.14 green has only residual from any aeration. Decent shape. Course is a great layout and can be set up different on a daily basis. Worth the green fees and trip. Only downfall here is slow play.
