I played your course last Friday and was disappointed several times during my round. I went in to the round knowing the were aerating however the course was in great shape especially for the heat we have been having.

My complaints pertain to the staff that we encountered throughout our day. The starter was either sick or hung over but either way he was not very personable and did not provide a welcoming experience. I was attempting to ask him about the golf course and he had to go get a asprin and left me alone on the tee.

I golfed as a threesome but one of our players was just riding and not playing. The course was incredibly slow. I assume it just had too many players on the course. We were reminded several times, via posted signs and constant reminders on our carts GPS that we were behind the pace of 4.5 hours. We were waiting for the group in front of us on every shot. On several holes we could see 5 groups all on the hole at the same time ( two deep waiting for the tee, 1 group on the tee, 1 group in the fairway and 1 on the green). The course was simply overbooked, our round was closer to 6 hours. The refreshment cart only got to us twice and by the time it got us it was out of several drinks.

All of that was unpleasant but manageable and understandable from my point of view. However, late in to the round I hit my second shot on the long par 5 and I sliced it OB. I dropped a second ball relatively quickly and played it. The marshall immediately speed up to my position and yelled at me telling me not play two balls and the course was playing slow cause of it. I explained my situation to him and he told me to play faster. It was unnecessary and beyond logic that he thought a two-some waiting on every shot was holding up the pace of play. He continued to watch us for two holes, for no good reason.

The course was nice but a good golf experience is about more than the course and Eagle Glen simply didn't provide it.
