Nice little layout. No surprises but lake edges are somewhat hidden if you don't pay attention. Fairways and greens in decent shape. I especially enjoyed my lunch at nearby Tommy's on 1scgolfer's dime... Continue »

This course is in very good shape. The greens although not fast are in great shape. I never had a putt that jumped or wobbled while it rolled. The fairways and bunkers are also in great shape. The... Continue »

The fairways are "tired". Probably need to be seriously upgraded. It would be nice to have additional yardage markings on the fairways. Some very rough areas on and off the fairways. Overall an en... Continue »

A lot of well deserved complaints about the greens on this course. I agree.
Kick up the speed a couple of ticks, mow and roll and bingo, great course.

I played this course for the first time. I have played the Players course and the Classic is just as good...There are more trees on the Classic, but less water. The winds howl at you, but it makes f... Continue »

played MS classic on 4/14. It was terrible. The greens are slow and bumpy, perhaps the worst greens in O.C. It seems they spent some money revamping their bunkers. They would have been better off fixi... Continue »

Greens rating really isn't indicative of the potential; they'd just punched them two days ago. Which, as a walk on, I chose the play the Classic over The Players: THERE WAS NOBODY ON THE CLASSIC COU... Continue »

Course in good shape. Greens a little slow (normal for the course). Only had to wait 30 mins on Sunday as a walk-on. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in good shape. First time playing the new holes... Continue »
