11/11/25 Veterans Day. Indian Hills web site did NOT post that a event was to happen! Golf Now log in either! Bookings were open for the morning so we drove out from Orange county to wait for a spot, Pro shop was not aware the event was not pre posted! Got a "Sorry". Could have at least offered a discount for another day? I normally practice over at Jurupa Hills only 10 minutes away so we called ahead and Ken put us on a short waiting list, bam, we were off in a half hour! Someone's not doing their job over at Indian Hills, and needs a refresher on hospitality. Just saying!

Note: Had to fill out detail form first to be able to comment. Visited last Sunday 11/2/25 only to visit the club house and range facilities. Ended up spending 4 hrs. on 2 different practice ranges, 2 separate putting greens and near by chipping/trap practice area. Fantastic 5 star grounds conditions! All on grass of course. Practice only was $ 40.00 for unlimited access and balls unlimited. New balls all yellow. You get given a golf cart down by the starter area with your clubs already mounted via the bag drop. These people know the meaning of hospitality. Views from the Pro shop, banquet hall, Restaurant/bar are to behold, particularly looking down from the terraced outdoor sitting/dinning area. Cool stadium type view of golf course! Want to drop your handicap? Go practice here.

Just reopened after punching/sanding etc. on 10/24/25. I played onthe 28th and starter was happy to tell me carts were allowed on the fairways! Conditions really couldn't have been better! everything 5 star. This was a Tuesday at 11:06 am, $81 bucks and finished alongside another single that joined in under 4 hrs. I do not consider a course of this caliber to be $$$$ . This place is in a gated community and could be easily charging $ 381.00 per 18. I strongly advise taking advantage of this spectacular facility. Wish I could have played here a couple more days!Special thanx to Jay at the starter position followed by Derek and Jim in the Pro shop.

Course in very good condition especially after recent seasonal aeration/sanding 3 weeks ago. only a couple greens healing more slowly. Fairways healthy with nice lies. Had to move ball 2 times from over watering or leaking plumbing issue. Tees (Men's), suffering from overwatering so I usually moved back a yard to find decent footing. Forgot how difficult approach shot are here. Sand traps protect pins expertly! This was a Tuesday late morning tee time. Played the front alone, then a twosome joined at the turn. Place has a relaxed Country club feel with nice modern Pro shop and resturant/bar facilities. Very nice outdoor elevated patio overlooking the 9th green waterfall rock formation and lake surrounding. Practice facility closed until 11am on Tuesdays. $71.00, nice carts and excellent GPS systems. 4hr. 10 min total play time. I'll be back.

Play here every other week for the last year on weekdays only. Last played 9/2/25 12pm-4:15 so pretty good pace I would say. I play this course mainly NOT for its general conditions but because of its overall difficulty, meaning narrow fairways with well positioned obstacles usually poor hard packed traps, challenging slope issues no "Gimmie putts" here. Greens here are usually healthy and soft on approach, but I find myself always fixing other's ball marks.
these greens could easily roll better if more golfers would treat them like the investment they are. I've played here 60 times and only once broke 80. My handycap stands at 11.8 at this writting and really should be killing it by now. My game at other courses is mid 80's nearly always and most I've only played once or twice. My point is the 'View keeps me honest and does reflect a steady improvement in my game elsewhere. Other issues here include older carts all of which have some type of issue. Yes they do have GPS. Cart paths are tired so watch yourself out there. Tee boxes in shady areas are suffering horribly. Bad tee boxes really get in my head, footing issues, unlevel at times also. At this point in the season a good matt system would be better at some tees. Fairways are a 3 out of 5 possible. Family run business just won't or can't invest any more money here. I get it. A for value for the $ it's priced right and pretty central to all of O.C. Apologies for much of the negative comments just being real here. I will still sharpen my game here for sure. All staff here is plesant and helpfull, driving range is tired but at least they have one. Thanx for reading.
