Cleveland CG16 Satin Chrome Conforming Wedge The Cleveland CG16 Satin Chrome Conforming Wedge has a hint of offset and is slightly larger for added forgiveness, much like the Tour-proven Cleveland CG14. The face features the same spin-maximizing technology featured on the CG15 in combination with Cleveland s breakthrough laser-milled surface roughness technology. Using the precision accuracy of a laser, each face features four perfectly calibrated texture lines milled between each groove exactly to the conforming roughness limit. This surface roughness application optimizes ball-to-face friction and maximizes spin within the rules of golf. The back of the wedge features a slight cavity back with an engineered undercut to move the center of gravity low and deep and increase the moment of intertia for added forgiveness on off-center strikes. The wider C shaped sole has constant width from heel to toe for improved bunker performance. However, a subtle Tour grind removing material from the heel and toe provides for versatile shot making from any lie or address position. Cleveland CG15 Satin Chrome Finish

After reading ATG's wedge review, I began looking for a new wedge. I settled on the CG15 60/12 and got a great deal at Golfsmith. Used it today for the first time and saw immediate improvement from my Taylor Made. Glad I made the switch and look forward to improved wedge play from this superb product.

Excellent,Feeling Performing Wedges 54* & 60* bounce

I've owned the CG15's & LOVED THEM!!! My goal is to play in Senior/Amateur golf events & needed to purchase CC (conforming) grooves for competition. I wanted something that feels & performs the same as my CG15's, I could have purchased CG15's w/ CC but decided to upgrade.
For my game,I know the EXACT loft/bounce configurations (54*/14* and 60*/6*) that I'm looking for. Unfortunately the CG 16 lowest bounce available is 8* degrees of bounce. I'm happy to review not a noticeable problem w/ these wedges. I recently put these (two) wedges into my primary bag,played about 3-4 rounds now & EXTREMELY happy w/ the all around performance,feel,weight,distance and the advantage of having LASER MILLED grooves all remaining USGA conforming. Since I purchased these wedges from trusted E-Bay sites for some outstanding deal$, CLEVELAND Golf has come out with several new models. In my opinion,you cannot go wrong w/ theses CG16's, $AVE all of your money & use it towards le$$on$ or green fee$! I'm putting the CG15's in my travel set (2nd bag) and donating those Snake Eyes wedges which are great wedges just not CLEVELAND performing wedges. My only KNOCK against golf club manufacturers IS/ARE stop MAKING new equipment every 3 months!!!! | ||||||||||||
