Yes, I seen all the ad's of the 17+ yards, but I am personally a cynical skeptic. Nonetheless, I went to try it out at a Roger Dunn. The launch monitors started reading distances of 240-255, mostly with fades to the right. I haven't had a fairway wood in years, but I remember they typically went about 230.
For no reason other than being ADHD and impulsive, I got one off of ebay for under 200. Played one round with it so far and took it to the range once. On the course, tee'd off with one after I hit a driver and balls were not very far apart. Hit one off the fairway on a par 5 and measured the distance and was just under 260 yards. WTH??? Still adjusting to it, as some shots go left and a couple go right, but actually feels good in my hands. Gained a lot more than the 17 yards.... Have to stop badmouthing their ads now... » Close

I've tried many a ball, almost hobby like to get a different sleeve and play it for a round. Asked my pro what he thinks I should use and told me to try these. Found a cheap sleeve on ebay and gave it a whirl. I never thought of these as a distance ball, but played at Olivas and hit 2 drives 300, and many more around 280. Not exaggerating, witnessed by other GK'ers ;) I usually hit my good drives about 275. I never really see much spin on my ball, but actually had on come back a bit off a gap wedge, where as usually mine just hit and stop or roll a couple inches.
I love this ball, and once I am done with the large amount of other random sleeves I have, I will start buying these only. » Close

I got me a 2 hybrid for about 1/2 the price off divot.com on a whim and am happy I did so. I don't have any woods in my bag beside the driver, and this seems to go about the distance of a 5 wood for me. Ball jumps off the face nicely. Smaller head goes well through rough and the club fits me well... » More

I just switched from a Cobra S2 Offset to this and could not be happier. Yes, it is expensive at 4 bills, but you can always find a deal somewhere else. Got mine for under 300 and it was some of the best golf cash I spent. I used to drive it 250, but many times would slice hard or go straight left OB, but now most of my drives are in the fairway, as well as a significant gain in distance. Most drives now are 270's and can go a bit more when I give it a bit more oomph. I never considered Callaway before but am in love with this driver. Makes the game much easier when you are closer to the hole and in the fairway. Helped me break my 90 barrier easily. I'm now a huge advocate of this and if you are looking for a driver, give this a few swings as well when searching. » Close

I just switched from Burners to these as I wanted some new clubs since I was changing my shaft flex, so good excuse to buy new ones :) I tried many out in the stores and this one to me had the best combo of forgiveness, feel, looks, and accuracy.
