COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE. JUST GET RID OF ALLOWING FIVESOMES. THIS JUST KILLS THE ENJOYMENT OF PLAYING WHEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT ON EVERY TEE BOX AND EVERY FAIRWAY TO HIT. 5 HOUR ROUND ON A WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, I WOULD HATE TO SEE IT ON THE WEEKENDS!!!!!

Played on Jan 20. 2nd group out. Very cold about 38* when we teed off. Be aware that there have been frost delays for the last 3 days. First group did not go out until 7:30. The fairways are pretty beat up, but with the cold weather what can you expect. The greens however are the best I've think I've ever seen there. Very smooth and pretty fast. They have not completely finished the changes to the course (going from a par 70 to a par 72) but they're getting there. Overall not great but not bad either. Dress warm if going out early!!

In a word "CRAPTACULAR". Don't waste your money. The course is in terrible condition. And to make matters worse, there was a tourny going on. There was a foursome more than a hole behind, yet playing as a single the chump marshall hassles me because I'm hitting two balls. There was no one for three holes behind me, and I'm up the *ss of the group in front of me, but yet I'm the problem. Get real!!!!

Overall not in very good shape. Some fairways are undistinguishable from the rough. A lot of bare spots in the fairways, sometimes just dirt. Don't expect much, but it's okay if you just want to get out and hit the ball.

If you are heading to Laughlin, go play Rivers Edge. This course has some of the best greens anywhere. It is always easy to get on. The people are very accomodating. The fairways are beautiful. It is not a very difficult course, however the wind will sometimes make some of the holes play pretty long. If you are heading towards the river, check out this course.

Played on 10-30. Overall not too bad of condition. Greens are a bit bumpy, but need a little time to heal after aeration. Starter Justin I think is his name, is very accomodating and very nice. Pace of play is slow due to the cliental that predominately plays this course. Other than that, a nice golf experience.

Has anyone recently played this course? I really like the layout, but have not played here due the reviews of the greens. Any info as to the recent condition of the green. Thank you.

Let's just say if you can get somebody else to flip the $195 midweek green fee, then it's okay to play. I wasn't overly impressed with the overall facility. You would think for that kind of money they would at least have a grass driving range. Nope, mats!. My impression is that The Don might be kind of cheap. No bag tags, ya you can buy one for $12 bucks. I've played courses for around $60 that gave you tees, divots tools, yardage books. Not here. About the course. It was okay. Beautiful views of the ocean. At first the waterfalls seem kind of cool, but then they have about 3 of them that all look the same. The coures isn't increadibly tough. You just need to hit a pretty straight tee shot. The greens are what will kill you. It's hard to predict the break due to the ocean influence. Some greens break hard towards it, some barely move. It's kind of a guessing game. Overall it was just an okay experience. I was pretty pumped about playing it, but I know I will never play it again.

Played on 9-13. First time playing this course. I really enjoyed the layout. I found it to be somewhat similar to Trilogy which is just a few miles away. The course is pretty straight forward. They have recently aerated the fairways but the holes are small, and they don't affect play. The greens are in pretty good condition, a few ball marks here and there, some worse than others. My only complaint was the pace of play. Over 2 1/2 hours to play the front nine, never once saw a marshall. Although the pace was slow, I really had a good time playing this course. Will definately be back...

Played on 4/12. I really like this course. Nice elevation changes, but not so severe you don't know which club to hit. The tee boxes and fairways are in pretty good shape, the greens however, leave room for improvement. There are many bare spots and bumpy conditions on almost all of the greens. If you play here you should like the track, but don't expect to hole too many putts.

If you are heading to Laughlin, try Rivers Edge. The greens are absolutely beautiful. I dare you to find a ball mark anywhere. The course itself is in perfect condition. The surrounding area isn't the most beautiful, however you do see the Colorado river on a few holes. But tee to green you will love the condition. And the best part is after 2:00 pm it is 15 bucks to walk. We played in just over 3 hours (even with hitting second shots most of the time). The people were incredibly nice. Just a nice laid back round with great conditions, just how golf should be.

This has to be one of my favorite tracks in southern california. Fun layout, not too terribly difficult. Great elevation changes. It's too bad that the greens are the worst I've ever seen there. Super bumpy, many ball marks (golfers fault...not the courses). Maybe its time for aeration, I know many other courses are right now. If the greens get back to good condition, this is really a great course.
