I don't know who Kevin in La is, but if you work for the golf course, maybe you should spend less time making excuses and more time working on the golf course!!!. We pay ever increasing prices to play these dog tracks, at least try to put a little grass in the fairways to hit off of.

Except for the greens, the course isin pretty poor condition. Fairways are terrible. There must be 8 different kinds of grasses growing. Tee boxes are not level and very muddy. Many bare spots in fairways.

Played on 2-18. Pace was very good. Greens in good shape, a little bumpy, but it has also rained the night before. The fairways are pretty beat up. Many bare or muddy spots. They really need to add a litte grass to the fairways.

Overall pretty good shape. If you play here, allow for a lot of break on the greens, they can be tricky. Pace can seem quite slow at times. A lot of novice golfers that don't seem to know proper etiquette. Still a pretty good track.

First time playing Rhodes Ranch. Very nice course, great layout. However, the greens were pretty beat up. A lot of ball marks, and at times, very spotty where grass was not growing. The main complaint was the pace of play. On the tenth tee there were four groups on one hole. The whole round took about 5 hours. Otherwise a must play in Vegas

This may be a southern california record!. Played Christmas morning @ 7:00am. Played alone, walking, finished in 2 hours and 13 minutes. How about that. The course is in really great condition right now. I play all over southern cal, and these greens are probably some of the nicest.

A LITTLE DISSAPPOINTED WITH THE OVERALL CONDITION. THE GREENS WERE REALLY BEAT UP. MANY BALL MARKS AND STILL NOT FULLY RECOVERED FROM THE AERATION HOLES. THE FAIRWAYS WERE A LITTLE BROWN IN AREAS, NOT TERRIBLY BAD BUT THE COURSE WAS NOT IN AS GOOD OF SHAPE AS I HAD HOPED.

This is about as good as it gets. The course is in fantastic condition. The greens roll pure, the fairways are lush. If you want to play a real quality course right now, the Goose is the place to play.

Right now Woodley is about the best shape I've seen it ever. I have been playing this course off and on for about 8 years, and it is in great condition. The greens have always been better than most La city courses, but now they are even better. Good job for the grounds crew. Although it is still a very easy and straight forward course, right now you can't beat the condition.

Played on Oct 22. Really love this course. Too bad the greens are still very bumpy and hard to putt on a straight line. This is the best course to play right now with all of the aeration going on everwhere you go. Hopefully the greens will be in good shape soon.

Played Yuacaipa on Oct 16. I play this course quite often. The course in general is looking very good. However, the greens are really, really bad right now. They still have a ton of aeration holes, and just a lot of ball marks and scuffs all over. It is impossible to putt on them. There is no way to keep the ball on line. Hopefully they will get better soon, because I really enjoy playing this course. Play the course if you like, but don't expect too much from the greens.

I agree with jaui, Encino is in pretty good shape. As he mentioned, some of the tee boxes are moved due to aeration, but overall Encino isn't too bad. Now if they could just do something about the Sunday afternoon 5 1/2 hour rounds. Green aeration starts this week, after that it should be in great condition.
