Played 2-7-18 early morning as a twosome getting around the course in 3 hours and 15 minutes with a little bit of waiting. Tee boxes were in nice shape, mostly level with semi-dormant grass that was cut tight. Fairways were a little thin but still provided nice lies with good roll out. Rough was pretty short and a little lumpy so you could end up with a lie that was sitting down in a little depression. Was in one greenside bunker that was semi-soft with plenty of sand. Greens are the highlight of the course right now. I can't recall when I have seen them in nicer shape. They are smooth and fast but soft enough to hold good shots. Fringes were cut pretty tight giving you the option of chipping or putting. For $28 walking with the GK coupon this course is a steal right now.

Played 2-5-18 on a GN deal for $28 including cart teeing off as a twosome at 7:10 and finishing at 10:20 . Tee boxes mostly level, some were Paspalum and a little thin and some were Kikuyu which were a little more lush, both were cut tight with some divot damage on three pars. Fairways for the most part were in good shape with descent lies and a few thin areas. Rough was mostly nice lush green grass with some thin dormant grass and some bare spots. Was in two greenside bunkers that were both in very nice shape with a good amount of sand. Greens were in good shape, soft, medium pace and rolling smooth. A few of the green complexes had some new sod around them which is still filling in. Overall course is in descent shape for So. Cal winter.

Played 1-31-18 teeing off at 7:30 as a twosome and finishing around 10:45 going through a foursome on the back side. Tee boxes were mostly level with dormant Bermuda and cut tight.Fairways were painted but they had good padding with nice lies. Rough was dormant and cut down low so pretty easy to hit from. Was in two greenside bunkers that both had a descent amount of firm sand. Greens were in real nice shape medium/fast pace and rolling true. A few of the greens had a small punch and were lightly sanded which didn't effect the roll. Nice course with wide fairways and big greens, not worth the $135 rack rate IMO, but definitely worth the $95 underpar deal with replay.

Played 1-30-18 early morning on a teeoff deal for $20 including cart. Was joined by a single and we got around the course in about 3 1/2 hours with some minor waiting. Tee boxes were in descent shape, semi-dormant, cut tight and mostly level with minimal divot damage on three pars. Fairways are mostly dormant but still provide nice lies with descent cushioning for shots. Rough was a mix of nice lush green areas with some thin and bare areas. Was not in any bunkers but they looked to be in good shape. Greens were soft and a bit slow for my tastes but they rolled fairly smooth. Course my not look green and lush right now but it is in very playable shape with a fun semi-challenging layout.

Played 1-29-18 for $22 walking(players card), first out as a twosome and finishing in 2 hours 45 minutes. Tee boxes were a mix of thin, too long and just right, with there being some divot damage on short par fours and three pars. Fairways were lush in some areas thin in others and had some small bare spots mixed in with some of the shorter holes having some divot damage. Rough was mostly in good shape with some small bare spots. Some of the bunkers looked like they had some new sand in them, unfortunately the one that I was in was very thin and hard with some small rocks in it. Greens were descent, firm with medium/fast speed and an occasional bump. A few of the greens had some bare and thin areas around the fringe but they had the flags in positions were it shouldn't come into play. 50/50 change of having a good or bad lie in fairways ,rough and fringe.Course is a little rough right now, but I still enjoy playing this short frustrating course.

Played 1-22-18 for my second round joining a twosome and finishing in a little under 4 hours. Tee boxes were a little thin and un-level with the three pars having heavy divot damage. Fairways were in descent shape with some thin and dried out areas but for the most part had good lies with descent roll out. Rough was a little patchy in areas with some bare spots it wasn't to long maybe an inch or two longer than fairways. Was in two bunkers on the back side both of which were very thin and firm. Greens were rolling on the slow side and a little bumpy. Champions seems to be in a little better shape than Legends right now.

Played 1-22-18 using a Underpar voucher for $45 which including a second round. Teed off around 7am as a single and finished in a little under 2 hours going through one group on the second hole. Tee boxes were okay with descent coverage and some divot damage on three pars. Fairways were mostly in good shape with a few thin areas but overall had nice lies. Rough was in descent shape, mostly 2-3 inches with some bare spots here and there. Was in one greenside bunker that was a little thin but still okay to hit out of. Greens were semi-soft with medium speed and rolled okay with an occasional bump. Have seen the course in better conditions but it is still fun to play.

Played 1-20-18 early morning as a single for $79 with cart, getting around in 1 hour and 45 minutes with no waiting. Tee boxes were a little un-level so had to search a little for a level stance, but they were fairly lush and cut tight. Fairways were in good shape with a few thin areas, nice roll out and good lies. Rough was not much longer than fairways and pretty easy to hit from. Was in two greenside bunkers both of which were a little firm and had quite a lot of small pebbles in them. Greens were a Poa annua, Rye mix that putted fairly smooth at medium/fast speed and were semi soft. Course is mostly flat going through some houses on the backside with a couple of lakes to add a little more challenge.

Played 1-19-18 With John, Matt and Kevin mid morning getting around the course in a little over 4 hours with not much waiting until the back nine where we waited a little bit on a slow threesome. Tee boxes were level, lush, cut tight and in great shape. Fairways were very green with good roll out and great lies. Rough was dormant Bermuda, but still in real good shape, not to long but a little bit of a club grabber when the ball sat down. A good majority of the bunkers are being redone with a little re-shaping and new sand being added, should be great when they are done. Greens are still filling in a little from re-seeding but they are still in great shape, rolling smooth at medium/fast pace and holding well struck shots nicely. Very fun course to play with some nice elevation changes and great views of the surrounding area.

Played 1-18-18 with John,Matt and Kevin getting around the course in about 4 hours. Tee boxes were in great shape with good coverage, level, and mown tight. Fairways were in great shape with good lies, nice roll out and they a fairly wide. There is a lot of mounding in these fairways so you can have some uneven lies but nothing to severe. Rough was semi dormant, not to long and easy to hit from. Was in three greenside bunkers, one on the front which was a little thin and two on the back which had recently been worked on and had a lot of new very soft sand. Greens had a lot of slope to them and were rolling medium pace and pretty smooth with an occasional bump. Service was very good and friendly. This course is a little out of the way but definitely worth the drive.

Played 1-17-18 on a GN deal for $40 teeing off around noon as a foursome and finishing in a little over 4 hours. Tee boxes were in real good shape, lush and level with minimal divot damage on three pars. Fairways were in great shape, very lush and green with descent roll out and nice lies. Rough was about 1-2 inches and easy to hit from. Was not in any bunkers but they looked to be well groomed and in good shape. Greens were rolling fairly smooth and holding shots nicely, but a little inconsistent in speed from green to green. Overall the course was in very nice condition and costumer service was very professional and nice.

Played 1-16-18 mid morning with GDR23 walking for $28 using the GK coupon. We were joined by another twosome and finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Tee boxes were in real nice shape, mostly level and lush. Fairways were very nice for this time of year, green, lush and very nice to hit from. Rough was not to long maybe an inch or two longer than fairways and fairly easy to hit out of. Was in three greenside bunkers two of which had nice semi soft sand and the third which had very soft sand, with all three being in very nice shape. Greens had just been top dressed with a light sanding but still putted fairly smooth and a little slower than normal. Great value with the GK coupon on a course that is in real nice shape.
