First time playing here, must say I was pleasantly surprised. Being a muni course, you never know what you're going to get, considering the quality of other courses in the area. Starter was pleasant and informative. There was a foursome of beginners going out before us, she (the starter) told them they were playing from the ladies tees, they told her that was ok (wish more people would recognize their limitations - thanks guys!). Course was overall in good shape, a couple of greens were bumpy, but most rolled pretty true. Tee boxes were not in good shape, but that beats having terrible greens. Sand traps were the usual Vegas hard pack. Definitely worth the money (only 29 bucks for locals in primetime on a weekend). Not sure what the out of towner rate is, but its got to be better that some of the other places that really nick the tourist...

Played on 3/26/2011. Course is in excellent condition. Nice layout, typical desert course with trouble on both sides of every fairway. Greens were slower than they looked, but still above average speed. Pace of play was a tale of 2 nines: we started on the back nine, due to a tournament on the front side, and finished in 1:40. Took 3:15 for the front, another tournament in the way. Was backed up 4 - foursomes on hole 2. Don't know if its always that way, so call ahead. Overall, a great combination of course and challenge, one to played when in the area.

Played 10/9/10. Pro shop attendant was late, so the maintenence guys got out the carts and said come back at the turn to pay the greens fee. Was first out with a local twosome, so having the local knowledge helped. This website indicated a recent overseeding, but didn't really find any evidence of it. Many bare spots, but that is to be expected of these desert courses. Greens had just been cut but were extremely slow. Rough was inconsistent in length, some really deep spots. Also, some really narrow chutes to tee off inbetween the houses along the course. Overall I enjoyed the course, would like to go back when the conditions are a little better.

Played on 10/3/10. Beautiful course, which was in perfect condition. The only knock is on the sand traps, which were a little hard and crusty. Greens were just soft enough to hold the ball without a lot of spin, but rolled true. Perfect speed as well. From the championship tees, over 6500 yards, which made for some tough forced carries. Bring some extra balls, if you go off into the desert areas, you will not find them easily. Service was adequate, no cart girl because of the lack of business on that day, but the other staff was good. Highly recommended.

Played 9/25/2010. First day open after re-seeding, so course in pretty rough shape. Was cart path only, so it was a little exhausting (spoiled I guess). Did not detract from the overall experience however. There is no GPS on the carts, but we were given a yardage book which really helped. What a spectacular course, particularly the front 9. Quite challenging, but playable at the same time. Service was top notch- saw the cart girl 5 times, and the clubhouse staff was excellent- got offered a cold towel at the end of the round (105 degrees that day) which was the perfect capper. Cannot wait till this course matures, we will be back

Played here on 7/18/10, first time. Played at 8:30 am, course in good condition, but really wet, I'm sure because of the higher than normal temperatures in the area. Greens were in fair shape, one had lots of debris on it from ball marks tearing it up. Course is tougher than it looks from the freeway, many elevation changes throughout. Service not too good. No help with the bags and no cart girl on the course. Living in Vegas, I've come to expect those things. Our cart ran out of juice on the 3rd hole. Called the shop to get another one, and took almost a half hour. Overall, not a bad experience, but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to play there again.

First time playing here. Great old school course, in terrific condition. Pretty much a straight forward layout, but the par 4's were really long for old duffer like me. My daughter, a beginning golfer, really liked the flat layout, not too many elevation changes except for some elevated greens. Greens were in great shape, not too slow, not too fast. Didn't really care for the driving range, kinda small, not large enough to hit a driver off of, and worn out pieces of carpet for mats. Really was no service to speak of outside, no offer to help with the bags and no cart girl. Living in Vegas, that's something I guess I've been spoiled on. Overall, a great experience, one we will do again.
