Had a 1:38 tee time. Started at 2:00. 3 hours to play the front nine. Many unrepaired ball marks on greens.

You would think that a $20 dollar green fee with cart would be worthwhile. Wrong! I have no problems with the conditions at that price, what made my 3 plus hour 9 hole round so annoying was the threesome in front of us that had to play mulligans on every hole, nevermind that there was a 3 group backup and the group in front of them. This group was slow off the tee because they had to use a range finder on a short par 3

New clubhouse is open. First hole was fairly wet with a few ground under repair areas. A new tee box is being created on the 10th hole adding a little more length. Great staff and a very nice course. It's nice to check in with the starter on the first hole and not see rows of carts lined up. Nice change of pace from the typical so cal area muni's.

Redesigned front nine will reopen at the end of October. When the front 9 opens again i would suggest just playing at twilight and forget the back 9. The greens are in bad shape with many bare spots

walked on as a twosome. It took about a hour and 45 minutes to get on just before a tournament. Considering the amout of play the course is well maintained. Usual municipal pace of play.

Arrived 1/2 hr. early and went right to the 1st tee. Nobody in front. Lost the group behind us after the 2nd tee and never looked back. Finished the round in less than 4 hours. Appparently some holes will be lengthened with new tee boxes and greens. Great staff and fair green fee

Walked on right to the 1st tee. Didn't catch up with anyone until the 7th hole, then pace of play slowed down considerably. Still finished in a little over 4 hours. First time i played here and was very impressed. What makes this course unique over the many municipal courses is the elevated greens, bunkering and pin placements. At least today there was many sucker pins making the ability to shape approach shots a must to score well. No refreshment cart ever came by but the snack shop is reasonably priced.

A friend (beginner) made reservations. Wanted to check out the course for a future junior tournament. Ever play a course with 18 temporary greens? Greenskeeper just cut a hole in the fairway and drew a circle around the flag. Either close down the course or offer significant discounts. Waste of time and money

Walked on as a threesome. Starter got us out within a half hour. Greens are playing firm and show no signs of aeration. One of the most challenging municipal greens and bunkers in the LA/Long Beach area. Unfortunately the rest of the course is average at best. The fairways remind me of courses where sod is placed over landfill and never takes. Many dead spots and divot damage. I can't believe i'm saying this but for the price i rather play Victoria.

Played 3-6. If you have the desire to play Felecia's home course(BBBIII) this time of the year will probably be the best time to do it. As the year goes so does the course. The greens will more than likely never be better for the rest of the season.

Played a twilight round at 2:10. 2.5 hrs to play 9 holes. With all the recent rains i course needs to dry out. Greens were a little soggy and bumpy, fairways were very good with the exception of hole 12 which took alot of runoff from the adjoining hill. What made the course difficult was the rough. Until they can cut the rough expect to spend some time looking for a ball if its not in the fairway. Still a great value and a awesome course

Walked on as a foursome right to the teebox. Fairways the usual winter condition. Greens were in very good shape although they played a little slow. It appears as if they are creating new tee boxes on a few holes adding a few more yards to the layout
