Played 12-11. Fairways soggy and bare in some areas. Small greens played smooth with good roll. Pace of play was over 5 hours. It looks like the local high school teams are practicing. Very busy twilight crowd.

Walked on as a twosome and immediately got on. Front 9 took 3 hours to play and barely finished. Fun layout that will challenge your tee shots and approaches. If you haven't played here before be cautious when driving a cart. The cartpath will cross or align itself along a few tee boxes.

The course was a little soggy today due to the rains but overall in good condition. Many risk reward tee shorts and tiered undulating greens make this a fun course to play. Best of all is the junior green fee rate. $1 anytime, $13 to ride. You and a junior player can ride for $49 weekend rate

A fun short course that places accuracy over power. With 7 par 3's and short par 4's its a good course for players moving up from par 3's or executive courses. The front 9 features 4 consecutive par 3's that can slow play a little. The back 9 is hilly with elevated approaches , tee boxes and dogleg fairways. The course also allows fivesomes to walk

Played Sunday after the rains. Played a little over 4 hours. Nothing that hasn't been posted before. Aerating the 18 hole. The rest of the course will be aerated starting Monday.

It seems as if the greens have been in a state of repair all year. I thought that one of the greens was being aerated but it was actually all the sand used to repair the excessive dead spots and divots. Once again there is a temporary green on the 7th hole. Another annoyance is the excessive amount of grass clipping left on the fairways after they are mowed. Right now just treat any round as practice or you will be diasppointed

Can be challenging off the tee with doglegs both right and left. Don't expect much roll on the fairways, the grass tends to be a little longer than most courses. Keeping the ball in play is critical because the rough and foilage can made finding wayward shots difficult. Greens played fairly slow although the coverage was very good. drive by us once

Walked on as a twosome. Course does not allow the general public to reserve tee time, took about 45 minutes to get on. Labor Day crowd so play was very slow. The only thing that would distinguish this course from most munis is the greens. Large multitiered greens with nice surrounding touches. Very nice short game practice area and a grass driving range. Play it so you can add it to the list of courses that Tiger played.

One day i took my son to the chipping green . This jerk gets upset because he can't have the practice area to himself, so he starts whinning and taking full swings on 10 yard pitch shots, shanking shots in our direction. Finally after a another shot flew past my son i scream at this idiot to knock it off. His reply in broken english was "haven't you hit a bad shot". Typical of the players and etiquette here.

Played 8/8. Called Sun. morning and got a 8:32 tee time. The fairways are narrow and yes there are many bare spots. Tee boxes need alot of work with many bare spots and divot damage. For all the lack of maintenance on the fairways and tee boxes, the greens were in very good condition. I have read the complaints regarding the conditions of the course. Come on! Weekend green fees with cart is $40 , don't expect Riviera Country Club conditions.

Accept the fact that your round will be an all day experience. The 11th and 15th hole will remind you why came there in the first place.

Took advantage of the birthday special. $15 total for my son and I. Take advantage of this opportunity while you can. I can't imagine a better course for the price in O.C. The course will play longer than the stated yardage due to uphill fairways with elevated approaches. Will return.
