This is the first time I did not look at the Newsletter sent out by Greenskeeper! Shame on me, I just said yes to the tee time and boy were we not ready for those greens. I know its that time of year but I hit the ball really well and had a terrible amount of puts! I guess we or I take for granted the service you all put into this web site! Thank you for information and I wont be going out before looking here.

Wow It felt like Christmas! I got to play Twin Oaks with my uncle today, on him ! As a family we have played every Christmas at this course for years now. It was in great condition, harder and dryer than in late December. Some of the tricky shots I pulled off last christmas did not fly today, ooh well. Try this course out in San Marcos, good resort course. You get a discount for being So Cal resident.

It was a hot day out in Downey, mid 90's at Los Amigos. This is a short course for me, very few drivers will be hit out here. I work on hitting fairways and greens, keeping it in play. I pulled in around 10 am with out a time and got right out with a very cool threesome! I had a great day with these fellows, $21 to play never hurts either! The front side I see to have figured out shooting 1 over with many birdie puts missed? The back has some holes were a 5 iron needs to be hit about 200 yards not to reach the trouble ie trees, traps or some H2O. OOOh well some day i will figure the whole 18 out. I hope to see those guys out again, they made a great day for me . Go out and enjoy Los Amigos like i have and will for some time. thanks todd

The first time I have played the South Course at La Costa, played North half a dozen times. The South has more water and demands a tee shot that has to be very accurate. The North Course is a mad bomber course rip it and hit it. The greens were very good and fast, true roles stayed on line. This is a shot makers course, you must think on the tee where you want to be for second shot. I like this in a golf course, I am a long hitter and needed 3 wood and sometimes 1 iron off tee. I will play this again. Very pricey at $195, yet the staff really makes it worth it!
