First new club house built looks great new driving range redone. Made start time for a fivesome no problem then drove the treacous drive to course.
Review as follows other than sand traps course is a disaster. Wet muddy grass not cut even in fairways off fairways super long grass and muddy weeds everywhere. Tee boxes uneven muddy and weeds on tee block areas. Greens had been aerated but no one told us when reservation made. Then with 4 holes to play 2 guys pull out in front of us to play.
I asked don't you think you should of asked us to play thru. He comments who said you could play a 5som. I responded pro shop made time for a fivesome when we called in and asked if 5 some allowed. We were told yes. Not only that there were but 8 cars in the parking lot when we arrived and only on 14th hole did these 2 clowns showed up.
We have been playing this course for over 25 years and make a treturaces drive up the super curve mountain road to play. First time there in over 3 years do to comic.
My question do you go to courses to check them out or just a phone call about conditions.
We have normally 12 players so usually get 3 start times this time only 5 could play rest were working but we have no plans to return again were done with that course.drive is very tuff but since no one informed us how bad course conditions were was biggest issue
The weeds even in middle of fairways a joke. As far as areated greens should of told us when making start time now i know why so few cars there when we arrives for 10 10 start time.
Finally we used to play the course 5 to 6 times a season but no more..
