Greens are firm and rairly hold. Sand is rocky and mostly firm and easy to chip out but not blast. Greens are NOT level (challenge) sometimes difficult to read break and speed varies from very fast to almost slow. Some very unfair pin placements. Course should suggest that players over 15 SHOULD NOT play from the BLUE tees. Some blue tees require carry over environmental areas of 130 to 200 yards and players over 15 may loose many golf balls or spend too much time looking for them. Overall, good course. Need to add seed to divot mix to help keep fairways green.

Great Course. Worth the drive and money. I don't think the temperature got above 40 degrees all day, but the course was in great shape for this time of year. People were GREAT! Have played Oak Valley 3 times at different times of the year and everytime the course was in great shape. Will play again!
