This was my first trip to Glen Ivy and I could not have picked a more perfect day. Everyone stayed home because of threatening weather. When I arrived at 10:00 Sunday morning the place was vacant. Took off on my own and joined a twosome on the second hole. I would rather play an interesting course in rough shape than a boring one in perfect shape. That's why I liked Glen Ivy. It has generous fairways which is important when playing around houses. But more importantly it is a stimulating layout with many memorable holes. I will be back.
