So i went out to Trump to hit some practice balls but it was closed so i thought i would come to try this course out. 4th March the small design of the club house was like Torrey Pines with the tee box below and the shop design, maybe this was a design feature of Public Courses at a time?

So i played in a 4 ball, who all where good fun and played good, i had about 15-20 mins to wait to my tee time so i hit the putting green and it was very slick and smooth.

They also have a range here so practice facilities are very good.

Its a tight driving course and the greens do have some slopes on them making it tricky and for the speed and condition at this time of year, excellent

It would be unfair to be harsh about the thin fairways as the grass isnt in full grown yet but it is a good course for your irons as you need to play for position on many holes.

There is a driveable par 4 on the back 9, it might be 12 ? great hole for risk or reward from an elavated tee box

its cost $18 to walk and it was lovely, if you are out that way its worth playing :)

I have played here a few times now and I really like the layout, it seems to have a wide range of golf holes that test every club you have.

The guys in the pro shop are so relaxed and friendly, there is nothing better than being welcomed to the club before you start.

So the Course was a little soft in the fairways, I dont know if they had heavy rain in the day or two before, but the layout was good and there was a lot of areas roped off to protect the approach to the greens which is understandable.

With it being Nov the grass was to me a little patchy and not being from Cali maybe someone can advise on the type of grass and how it behaves in the winter. This didnt put me off and I would really recommend it.

The greens played nicely and had a nice roll, what i like about this course is the various levels of elevation and the views that you see as you climb onto the back nice.

The par 3's are medium to long with good greens to hit into and the 18th is a great finishing hole par 5 that has the green protected by water and sits up so it tests the distance control!

So I saw this course on Golf now for a hot deal on the 3rd November.

first off the Customer Service is really great, the guys in the shop really do try to make everything possibe for you.

I got Paired with another guy George who was a top guy to play the round with, there was very little breeze this morning and having played Wolf back in April which was almost Irish wind it was very nice.

The Course is a nice and fair challenge with a few of the greens sitting up above the fairways and there isnt as much water as the Wolf course, the course for November was in amazing condition and credit to the staff for maintaining it.

There was a few divot marks on the greens that had been fixed by staff but the greens were quick and there was a few little tricky reads on putts so although it may be the so called easy of the "3" Courses here, the Greens will really test you if your rusty !!

Back to my point about pitch marks, if people woul take the time to fix them and say at least one other, it would be so much better on the course as i dont think its fair to blame the golf club

Tee Boxes where in Good condition, I think a couple had a light sanding on them but nothing extreme, the fairways were softish to firm so you did get some run on the ball :)

Overall the rangers coming around where really nice and slow play wasnt a issue, I even had the cool sighting of a Cotoye which the staff said was one of a family.

So I would say that its worth playing the course, as usual the views are stunning with the added sightings of the fighter jets fying over too...

Played here 8/31 for $40 on hot deal at golf now and wasnt let down, what a beautiful set up.

The club house was lovely and the range and putting green where laid out well.

The starter was very friendly and gave all the normal info and rules, and off i went to some amazing views and a great mixture of elevated tee shots to some blind shots also

There course was just perfect condition and my only issue was the slow speed of the greens which i had to battle through out the round, i only wish that people would fix their pitch marks on the greens as they looked wonderful and the staff have done a wonderful job.

Pace of play was good and i would say to anyone that if you find a pre paid deal, snap it up and also bring your camera for some stunning views.

So i played my first TPC on 8/25 and i paid $69 which i thought was a good price.

This was brutal and felt worse due to the heat however with narrow fairways that looked so small from the tee box and lots of water it really does take you to play here with someone that knows where to play your ball.

The rough was brutal, miss a fairway and its take your wedge and play out! I just felt it was very tough to even get the ball to stop on the greens from the rough and also the greens were firm due to the heat but i have to say that the condition was wonderful and great credit to the staff who keep the course well in the crazy heat.

I played the combo tees which was marke on the card and if you do play, dont be ruling out playing the course a set of tees further up, i wish i had of looking back!!

Customer service was excellent and the start Karl (from Berlin) was very friendly and did warn of how tough it was!!!

Played at 7am on 8/25 and was really impressed with the stunning layout. Was greeted by a member of staff who was very helpful giving directions to the pro shop and then to the range, got paired with a single, Mike who was great playing partner.

The starter got us away and gave some nice tips and advice, the course looked perfect and wa very lush as a lot of water had just been put down and no wonder to preserve the beauty in the high heat!

The greens had just been done a week before so they were a little bumpy and slow at times which was hard to adjust to but i cant take this away from my experience here.

The holes play well and not having played here before you can look back at how you can use most of your clubs for shots.

Once bit of advice is if you miss the fairway, play a 2nd ball a the waste areas can have the ball fly on and into thick bushes.

I would say that i prefer this to Tpc West Stadium, highly worth the green fee of $40

I played Wolf 3/31 and the course was quiet, its an amazing course and was perfect. It plays a little tricky with the high gusts so if you play and dont hit it solid your tee box choice is important!!

The Course was enjoyable as the holes played a little strategy with club selection and the fairway bunkers seemed to catch me.

The par 3 island green at 15 was awesome, i made par so it felt good !

I played the course on 4/2 and was put into a 4 ball with 3 ladies from Texas also on vacation. They were great fun.

The wind was very gusty at times and the course played a good bit longer due to this, but the condition was amazing and the greens were fantasic, very true and quick. Each hole has a little feature on the GPS screen that allows Jack to give you some tips on how to play the hole your on.

The guys in the shop were very friendly and welcoming and interested in chatting about Rory Mcllroy since i'm from the same area !!

All the way around the pace was good until the 14th hole when strangely two 3 balls joined to make a 6 ball.

They were slow and chatting and zipping about all over the fairways, I did mention it at the end ro the guy collecting the cart he couldn't say sorry enough.

Despite this annoyance it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to take on the Bear.
