Played this course for the first time on 1/5/12 and the course was playing fast, with winter conditioned fairways and a unusually warm day of 90 degrees. Not knowing the course was to my benefit, I would have layed up more if I had known before hand how short some of the holes actually are. I ended up having a good round that day and shooting 68. This course offers many chances at birdie and eagle. Putting was sort of a challenge at first to read the greens but I eventually ended up just feeling out putts and finishing strong. . Note to longer hitters ,make sure on the 18th hole to lay up with a 6 or 7 iron, this will give you a good chance at birdie. Glen Ivy really needs to post slope on some of their holes ,especially the 18th . Just for fun I wanted to hit a drive on the finishing hole and the course lists( black at 418 ) I ended up hitting it about 30-40 yards over the green into the street behind. I would say it is playing 310-320 at most. Overall this is a nice course and not that difficult, probably a little harder than Dos Lagos and a little easier than Eagle Glen down the street.
