The greens were recently "punched" and still fairly sandy. However, what an amazing track! Having played similar courses I knew to paly the back tee to avoid hitting into trouble from the middle tee. While this course is over 6800 yards, It is managable with accurate drives.

You can not bang away with the driver on the shorter par 4's and the longer par 4's will leave you a 3-4 iron in.

Even with the conditions of the greens I found this a course I want to re-visit in another month.

It had been several years since I last played this course. At that time they had just added the second nine holes to the lakes course taking it to a full 36 holes VS 27. The lakes is not a very long from the white tees but is demanding of good shot placement.

Holes 6-15 are about 5 years old. The fairways have matured nicely. The greens are much firmer / harder then the older nine holes but very playable.

I was slightly concerned about the condition the greens might be in after reading a members post on the 11th of March which said the greens were just areated. There was no sand and no visual indication the greens were recently done. The greens are considerably slower then they appear but I felt they held the ball well and were easy to read. The slower greens did make getting the ball on line and close to the hole fairly easy.

There were lower areas on the course that have been hit hard by the heavy rains. There was almost no standing water but there were spots with drying mud in the fairways. The hardest hit were probably the green side bunkers on the low sides of the greens.

While this course is in good shape, I probably would not play here often for $40.00. There are many other courses in the Inland Empire that are cheaper and a better value for your hard earned dollar.
