The customer service is excellent, the course, challenging and in good condition. Over all just a fine golf experience at an very reasonable price. I prefer walking to get the exercise, but you can rent a cart if you'd rather take it easy Don't forget to have lunch at Mulligan's. Great food for less then $10 per lunch entree. Their homemade cream pies are tasty for those with a sweet tooth (like me).

My buddy Navin and I played hooky from work one Thursday afternoon in order try Rustic Canyon. Off to a rocky start because mapquest.com provides innacurate directions. Call the club house for the correct exit.

The course, truly links style, is in great shape. Wide fairways, numerous sand traps and huge, sprawling greens. I'm a decent putter and I four put the first green. The course is in a beautiful location which offers a sense of isolation and peace. There were only two down sides to our golf experience. First, the wind was definitely a factor. Second, the course backed up on about the fifth or sixth hole. It was so bad, we backtracked to start the front nine again.

Overall, a good golf experience. I'd definitely play there again and the rates present an extraordinary value.
