This course had been on my list for a while and I finally got around to playing it right before they aerated.

Driving range is a little bit of an odd setup with it being pretty far from the clubhouse - would probably recommend driving over there once you check in. You do have to buy a range code from the proshop unless you have a range key for the course so keep that in mind. Range is on mats and the balls are half decent.

There are a couple small putting greens and a small short range area near both course teeboxes that were in pretty good shape.

On the course the teeboxes are in pretty good shape, a couple had some bare spots but overall they were fairly lush and green.

Fairways were pretty good, like the teeboxes there were some bare spots but overall pretty decent coverage.

Rough wasn't very penal overall but there were some areas that were thicker and more lush than others, not super consistent but overall decent coverage. Again with the overall theme though of bare spots in some areas but to be fair they're not so bare that you're hitting off of hardpan - just more sparsely grown grass.

Greens were in great shape for a public course and rolled pretty well. Some holes had much more wear and tear with unrepaired ball marks or dead spots from poorly repaired ball marks but overall really nice.

The course layout is great, some challenging holes with multiple decision options off the tee and other straight forward ones to help balance it out. Probably some of the harder par 3s in San Diego county, I think all of them were longer than 170yds from the back tees.

We saw the beverage cart multiple times on each 9 and they have a halfway house with plenty of food/drink options.

Overall great experience, POP was pretty good, I think it was around 4:30 for 18 with 4 walkers. Will definitely be back to play again once the course heals from aeration. Highly recommend, awesome value (~$59 for 18).
