I recently purchased these shoes at an incredible price at $50+$10 shipping =$60 total but these are normally $129.99 brand new. I believe they will be closing these out soon because the newly redesigned summer model is coming out next month. I am a size 9.5 EE extra wide so finding wide shoes for me is a chore but luckily Footjoy makes a wide range of shoe sizes and widths. The white leather design is very sporty. For me the White/silver is the best looking style for the sport line. I currently have the the footjoy saddle traditional style, black footjoys lights, and sporty adidas shoes but I was just looking for a nice water proof, white, and light shoes for summer and this pair fit the bill. No need for breaking in. Shoes are so light and comfortable right out the box. Walked 18 holes at Woodley lakes and Rancho Park during the heat wave we had in Los Angeles these last couple of weeks and never had an issue with comfort or sweating in these shoes. The cleat design is very supportive for a stable golf swing. My biggest complaint about my other golf shoes is how my right foot would lose traction during my down swing but with these shoes not so much. The Champion cleats seem to be working out okay but seem a bit hard and leave noticeable spike marks on soft greens. I will be changing it out to the pulsar cleats once these wear out. The molded soft spikes that are built in give added traction in conjunction with the champion spikes. Footjoys flex zone is very nice feature giving range of lateral movement and letting the foot move naturally during the golf swing. Even the insole has a nice modern design and is very lightweight and comfortable. I have yet to try these out in wet conditions but if they are like my other footjoys I will not have problem with that. I think Footjoy is a leader in the golf market for a reason. They make great products but they are a bit expensive for the casual golfer but you do get what you pay for. Love these shoes. » Close

There were may fairway woods to choose from. Titleist, Rocketballz, Adams but I was interested in how this club looks and feels. I tested it out and the launch monitor said this was the best one. I have the TM Superfast Tp 2.0 in 15 degrees with a matrix radix 7 hd shaft in stiff flex. Shaft measures 43 inches. Upgraded to a Black Widow tour silk grip in white. First off the white look and classic shape looks phenomenal. The used price was 149.99 and along with my trade in Tour edge exotics and coupon I paid $121 after everything was said and done at roger dunn in West LA. This club is very long. Carry is about 245 and with roll the club reaches 250-260. The Tp model has a 2 degree open face along with a weight in the toe of the club. I prefer this setup because I tend to hit a draw/hook and this keeps the club square at impact. I love this club and at times when the driver is too much I love hitting this club off the tee. I would have given this club all five stars but because of the smaller head and longer shaft accuracy can be a bit off at times but the lighter shaft and low torque make up for it in distance. Also the price for a brand new one when it first came out was 249.99 to 299.99 but since I got it at a steal price I gave it 4 stars. The feel of this club is excellent. Sounds solid at impact but can be a bit "tingy". Overall I love this club at address and step up it looks very clean and sexy. The lower clubhead and white paint scheme makes this club look slick at address. I have the matching TP driver (read my other review). I previously had a tour exotics 13 degree and as much as I loved that club this club hits just at long if not longer. This club is not for the high handicap player as it will promote a fade and in most cases a slice for those who have a hard time controlling ball flight and line. I am a 7 handicap and for the price and money this club suits me well. » Close

Taylormade Superfast Burner 2.0 TP 9.5* HD6 stiff flex.
This driver has completely changed my golf game. This driver is long. I mean really long. I switch balls between the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Penta 5. The Penta 5 and Pro V1x combination is the best I have witness so far. I bought mine used from Roger Dunn. The used price was 149.99. I think they might have put on the wrong price. I used the $10 off coupon and after taxes it came out to a little over $150 but considering this driver brand new last year was $399.99 I think it was a great deal. The shaft is a lot lighter than my last Aldila shaft and weighs like 65 or 66 grams. I took the old grip off and slapped on the new black widow silk grip on and the white head and grip combo looks great. At first I was hesitant about getting a white headed driver but the launch monitor said I was carrying it 270 yards. I think it was inflated a bit with the top flight balls but on the driving range at Rancho Park I have no problem carrying the fence at the back of the range. Distance is insane on this driver. My previous 909 D3 driver was pretty good but I tended to hook my drives so the two degrees of open face on the TP model made a big difference. I can set it open at address and use my normal swing and it flies dead straight or with a slight draw. I am now averaging about 260-270 off the tee and being only 150lbs at 5'7". The extra weight on the toe of the club promotes an open to square face at impact for those of use who tend to shut the face at impact. The sound this club makes is nice. It is not a tin can noise or loud but a nice thump with solid feedback. At impact you can feel how solid this driver is. The shaft is half an inch longer than most at 45.5 and can be "whippy" at times but is very stable throughout the swing. I thought about getting the R11 or the 910D3 but once you set the club to your settings you don't really change it much so I figured this would be a wise investment. I am now hitting more mid irons and wedges into most greens on courses that I play on a regular basis. I have always been a Titleist guy but once I bought the TM SP TP driver I was a believer. The white crown and white face makes picking your target line easier and definitely decreases glare unlike black head drivers. I love the driver so much that I went out and got the TM superfast TP 3 wood and it is just as good as the driver. If you have a chance to pick one up for under $200 go get it. I give it five stars because it is the longest driver I hit and excels in every category. I am now averaging in the low 80's to high 70's and it has a lot to do with this driver. » Close

I've had my Sonocaddie for some three years now. At first I thought this was a great unit because of the features but after using it I think that the accuracy is somewhat undesirable. The yardages can be off by 20 yards at time. I have the nikon laser range finder and it is far more accurate than this gps unit. The features are pretty good. It can hold up to 20 golf courses but you have to sign up for a one time fee and it is not transferable to a new owner if you decide to buy it or sell it. I found out that this company is based out of China so tech support and request for updates on golf courses takes time and in some cases impossible. Alondra park updated their course a few years back and made some hole changes and I contacted them to update the course. I received a reply via email stating they cannot update at this time. So one of the unique features of this unit is that you can update the yardages to hazards, trees, front, middle, and back by mapping the course yourself. The only downside is that the hold layout on the unit will not look like the actual hold. Another feature that is pretty neat is the score tracker. You can keep score on this unit and you can track greens in regulation, FIR, puts, penalties and then upload them onto the computer. It will also calculate the percentages of those stats. It also has a mark feature so you can measure distances of all your clubs. Battery life is pretty good. I played about 10 rounds of golf without charging it for about three weeks. I love the features and for the price it is a decent unit. It is also water resistant and pretty durable. Comes with a belt clip so clipping it to your belt or bag is not an issue. Also, you have to download all the courses you play. Most other units on the market now have 25,000-30,000 course preloaded but not this one. This feature can be annoying at times if you forget to download a course. If you want accuracy then this is not for you but it you are a mid to high handicapper that just want the general distances to speed up play then this is a good unit for you. » Close

I read about this new Penta 3pc ball so I decided to try a sleeve. First, they should call this the Trenta. I'll start from the driver down. The feel of this ball is soft off the Driver with good feedback. This is a lower compression ball and feels like the Titleist NXTs. Flight of the ball is mid to high and does not roll as much as the Penta 5. 3 wood distance is good and feels like the driver. Long irons off the tee feel soft and solid while off the deck it feel a bit thumpy and heavy at impact. This is were the ball starts to shine. Mid to short irons and wedges this ball shows it true color. Ball flight is high and spins nicely. Drop, one hop and stop is typical for full shots yet this ball tends to be really soft for bump and run shots. I hit a toe Pitching wedge from 121 and pulled it about 20 yards off line but it held the green and only release about 5 feet. Off the putter the ball feels much like the other clubs and has a solid almost mushy feel. If I were to compare this ball I would say it would be a softer version of the second generation 392 PROv1. This downside of this ball is the durability issue. I played three holes and noticed scuffing. The urethane cover is thicker than the PROV1 but is much softer.
My average drives when struck one the "screws" were about 265-270. I was told by the proshop guy that is ball is made for people who have a swing speed under 105mph and is comparable to the B330-RXS, Hex 3pc, and NXT yet this ball has a more expensive urethane cover like the B330-RXS but is only $35.99 compared to $45.99. I really like this ball and would switch to this ball but because of the durability issue I have reservations. » Close

I was looking to replace my Rescue Mid 16* w/Aldila 85NV shaft. I wanted a shaft which was lighter but easier to swing. I know I could have swapped out the shaft but I have the original Tour Edge 3 wood in 13 degrees and I love it so I decided to stick with the same brand for my hybrid. I read all the reviews on the XCG and they were all positives so I went shopping and found a 19* with a 62 gram Tour Accuracy shaft and this club is long!!! This hybrid is easier to hit and gets the ball higher and longer than my Rescue Mid. You can really feel the titanium face on solid impacts and even on missed hits the ball flies. Greened a par five in two. I was 210 to a front pin on an elevated green. Took out my XCG hybrid took a could of practice swings and bam pin high about 15 feet. Missed the eagle but made the birdie. I am not the longest guy but this club makes me feel like a tour player. The price is unbelievable and cheaper to comparable brands on the market but most if not all other brands use steel not titanium for the face. Shaft is perfect for my swing speed (98 mph) and light enough that you can feel the head. At address the look is clean and gives you confidence knowing that you have such a nice size head. I am now thinking about getting a 21 degree to replace my 3 iron. You can buy the other brands and pay a pretty penny but why? I would definitely go out and at least try to hit a few balls with this club and you will know what I am talking about. Combo brazing sounds like a gimmick but it is real technology that will help you long game out immensely. » Close
