Played today, 5/11. Fairways were thin, greens were soft to firm and spotty, tee boxers were level, sand OK. no beverage cart. This is an average course, at best, with a couple of interesting holes. OK for the price ($35) but overall lacked the character I've found at other courses in the area.

Played on my Birthday(Thanks Johnny) and was treated like a king. Great service from staff, excellent golf course. The best I've played on in Socal. Fairways were tight and firm-lot of roll, greens were soft and held, no ball marks, putts rolled true but a little on the slow side, tee boxes were all level and sand was OK. Definite replay.

Played on Thursday 3/28 with Sbogey. Overall course was very nice-fairways excellent, rough goo, tee boxes level, good, attentive staff and great views. Every hole a different challenge. Greens did not look like a solid green color but were an uneven splotchy green. They were very firm-Steve hit a couple of excellent shots that just would not stop on them. The traps, which I visited on almost every hole and overstayed my time in some, were very hard, very little if any soft sand in some. I put a couple of nicks in my sand wedge hitting out of them. Since it was the last day at a special rate of $25 though a LA Golf show special the course was booked solid but the group we played behind was slow-would have liked to see a marshal tell them to pick up the pace.I think this is a good course which I only paid $25 to play with some great scenic holes but at the normal price, I'd expect them to do some improvement to the hazards. They were poor at best.

OK for the price. Great improvement since my last review3 but still has a ways to go. As you play you can see they're trying. Staff was very nice, took a reservation for me as a single. Played in under 3 hours as 2 foursomes let me play through. Course was pretty empty. tee boxes were for the most part level but one, the 5th was really thin almost bare and a few others were not really level. Fairways were thin, had a hard time telling if I was on fairway or rough in spots. Rough was short. Did not land in any sand for a change but the traps looked poor. Greens were nice but firm. Overall a nice experience which I'll repeat.

Played today (Monday). Course was not crowded, teed off on time and we moved along at a good pace. Course personnel were courteous, helpful and fun (told this 66 year old he he didn't look a day over 40-only thing better would have been carded by the cart girl who looked great). Fairways were great but course knowledge is a must. Many fairways slope and are bisected by drainage ditches.Tee boxes were the only thing slightly below average.Rough was thick and lush, greens held. Sand was OK. One neat thing about the carts I hadn't seen before is that you couldn't violate the no cart rules because they would not go forward once you entered them. If you did enter them the cart would stop and you had to back out of those areas. Overall, I really liked this course and found it well worth the price. I'll definitely play this course again.

Course has come a long way. There are still patched areas on the edge of a couple of greens and some ares which need more attention but overall, the course is in excellent condition. I did not see any tee boxes which were not level, the fairways were in great shape. Greens held if you hit the ball well but their speed was not consistent from hole to hole. This is one of the challenging courses I've played. Love the layout, front nine was mostly wide open, back nine had some tight holes. Staff was excellent. One thing for those who play there regularly, fix your ball marks. We must have fixed two or three per hole.

Played after a long absence. Always enjoy it, excellent greens, decent fairways, level tee boxes and now they've finally brought the sand traps up to par. Staff is great. Only complaint is the 17th fairway-it was freshly punched last summer and it was punched today. One of my favorites which I'll play again.

Played today, 3/17/11, for the first time. I liked most everything except my score. I got to meet many of the trees which line some fairways no matter how wide the fairways were. You will have many uneven lies as well as some blind shots if you hit the way I did today. The fairways were thin, some greens had ball marks but the sand was good, tee boxes were at least level and the staff was excellent. Saw the beverage cart several times. The pro shop told me they had over 200 golfers yesterday and expected that many today so this is a heavily played muni which shows some wear but I found it to be fun and challenging. I'll try to play it again.

Great course, while fairways are now dormant you can see the care that goes into them and you better hit them, the rough is just that high and tough, good luck finding your ball. Tee boxes all well kept and level, sand traps well maintained, greens were a little slow but held well hits shots. Staff was excellent from front desk to starter, who gave us some great info about putting the greens, to the cart boy. Finished in about 4 1/4 hours. Nice snack bar. Definitely worth the price and another visit.

I've rated this course before and a good score hasn't changed my mind. The new management is excellent. The greens have improved and are very good, well maintained traps which I was in a few times, but the fairways, which are very tight on some long holes, leave a lot to be desired. Saying they are thin is complement but the new management seems to be trying, making several holes cart path only in an attempt to revitalize the fairways. The revamped 16th still has a dirty looking pond at about the 1/2 way point which does not lend itself to an enjoying ambiance. I usually will not play here but filled in when a fourth dropped out at the last minute.

Played on a Thursday which was also ladies day. 5+ hour round. Service was excellent as were the greens. Tee boxes were level but some had large bare spots. Rough was poor at best, very dry and many bare spots. Fairways were much like the rough, while I only saw a couple of sprayed drop areas some of them were mostly bare with some grass patches. Fairways were very dry. While the course is , for the most part flat, it has the potential to be challenging with many trees and some water.

OK for a muni. Some holes very easy(short) some long but overall enjoyable. I would go back after it dries out.
