SURVEYOR REPORT Surveyor Report: 7/17/2004
Anaheim Hills Golf Course is quite a challenge for the average golfer. If you haven't played the course before, I only hope that you are paired someone that is used to the course. There are blind shots, drastic elevation changes, severe dog legs, a swamp, and concrete like bunkers.

The playing conditions were poor. Most of the Tee Boxes had uneven lies and the fairways had quite a few bare spots. The greens were a little bumpy and you will find many un-repaired pitch marks. The sand traps were very hard and filled with rocks. The worst quality of the golf course is the danger of errant shots and how the course is layed out. The course has at least three holes that put you in serious harms way. One green is situated next to the range with a net that is not nearly high enough to keep balls away from the green. Two range balls landed on the green while we were finishing out putts. There are other holes that players tee off from elevated tees to the fairway below. There is no protection on other fairways to keep players safe from errant shots.

This was my second and hopefully the last time playing Anaheim Hills. The staff are somewhat friendly. The Snack Bar closes at 4:00PM. The pace of play was horrible. The round took us 5:45 hours and the marshall did nothing to speed play.
