This course is fun with great greens, if they spent as much time on their fairway maintenance as they do with their greens it would be a great course. All things considered shot very good on front, back gets a little more challenging. Especially if the wind picks up. All in all good bang for the buck. Start out aggresive and finish conservative for a score of 80 or better.

I did not play this course...but after waking up at 6:45 A.M. trying to call for their "special on the 25th" and getting thru by 7:15 and I was told, oh, there is a tournament that day on both courses for members only. F!@# that, what a way to get below average income people to try your course. The soonest tee time was at 4:20. Gee thanks...great public relations, wouldn't play here if it was FREE. There are way too many specials to be had, to be screwed over.

This course is fun...super fast greens. However, fairways + tee boxes + sand were not so great. We played on a special that included lunch and a cart for $35. This made it worthy, but it is not a 7.0 plus, more like a 5.0 plus. This is an "American Golf" course, but the fairways are not...I REPEAT very fast greens, spend at least a half hour on the putting green, or you will be putting thru the break.

This course is not a 7.0 (great), but worth the $30 special with a cart, hot dog, and soda. The greens were in overall good conditon, but that was about it. Thank you to all the military guys and gals for their service, however, if you suffer from "Gulf War Syndrome," don't play here. There was an M-16 going off all day, about a quarter mile away. The jets flying sorties around us were a cool sight, but a distraction. Tee boxes were crabgrass, many fairways with G.U.R. (ground under repair) circles. I repeat not a 7.0+, more like a 4.0. Stay in O.C. and play a better course for the same money. The 18th hole was fun from the tips, about 560 plus yards. Good greens, cool starters, and cold water at every other hole are the highlights of this course.

Course Management a must...a fun layout. Three nine hole, designed by "the Bear and his son." Many tricky greens, fairly narrow fairways, greet tee box vistas. Only bad part was sand, maybe heat has them watering them down. Played Ridge to Creek in under 4 1/2 hours, great service, marshalls and starters were cool. All that said, think fairway woods or long irons instead of driver on most holes.

Horrible tee boxes, putting over crabgrass, one fun par 3 (uphill). On one of the tee boxes we literally teed off off sand. I thought the beach was up the street a couple more miles...not worth regular rate. Get a discount, I did and would not pay over $25 (W/end). Starter was cool, that was a change.

Plan on a long round...fun little layout with most holes lying out of sight. Do some homework on the course before you play, their scorecard does not have picture layout of bunkers or H20. Some of the best views off tee-boxes including a "bobcat" sighting at sunset on the 14th hole. Wait two weeks after aeration and it should play even better.

Fun par 70. Fairways are in good shape, just land off of them or you will be hitting off "crabgrass" mostly. Good fun greens, lots of par 4's, and plenty of bunkers. Stay out of sand + hit 9 or more fairways and a decent shooter can shoot 80 here. Nice weather, not very good service (starters).

Great greens, and that's about it. Want to have fun and a great score at the end, then golf here. I had three birds on approach "gimmes." No brushes for your cleats, and early in the morning that sucks. Oh well, what do you expect here. Fun little layout if you stay on "fairways." Worth twilight price only.

Firm Greens!! I was told they will be punched this week 8-22 thru...beware. Give it two weeks after punching and it should play better. All said, a fun muni. course.

This course is very overpriced!!! The fairways are brown, the greens are undulating with many tiers and were in o.k. condition. I don't see how they don't keep this course maintenance up. If they had green fairways it may be a nice little course from the blacks. Don't pay more than $30 with a discount to play here!!!
